TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Doctrine’s weekly contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop.

Lots of grats to cover, so lets get right to it…

1) Phyllis

2) Una

3) the Wakefield Doctrine

4) the Six Sentence Story bloghop

5) the Unicorn Challenge bloghop

6) the level of …sophistication might not be the right word, but hey, this is the Wakefield Doctrine, do we sound like we’re overly concerned with using the correct word? In any event, one of the things that distinguishes this gratitude blog(hop) from others in the genre is one thing: a) the acceptance of hypograts in a TToT and 2) the Book of Secret Rules (aka the Secret Book of Rules). This, of course, leads us to cite the hostinae of this spiritual circus, (in the old fashion traveling carnival that wended it’s apocryphal way through our generation’s memories of childhood (both real and nineteen six-tified)… without the bad stuff that is the unfortunate reality of the milieu.

7) oh kay!! dodged that ‘psst come ‘ere. wanna show ya something

8) Our hostinae: Mimi (who, for any New Readers and/or recent participants) is our resident expert on the proper use and presentation of the concept of hypograts. and…and!!  if you have the nerve, totally ask her to share a Boudreau & Thibodeau joke (you can thank us later)… Dyanne, Denise, Kristi, Lisa and Misky

9) Hypo-grat: Today is the last day of Summer

10) Secret Rule 1.3

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. The closer we are to the last day of this summer, the closer we are to the next one! As always, I enjoyed your list and how you present it.

  2. phyllis says:

I enjoy reminiscing about Ola when I hear Hallelujah, I love her so!
She took much better care of you than I did at the time.
Thanks be to Higher Power that gave us such great dogs :)

  3. Misky says:

Ray Charles, just brilliant, and it was fun listening to Benatar again. Nice selection of TToTs

  4. How would you say it? A pleasant listation of Thankfuls, Clark.
Alas, as I have done for countless years prior, I lament the shortening of the days, daylight taking a slow, steady drive towards the next season.
It just hit me (for the first time) …they can be as long as I make them! (yeah, will tell you how that’s done when I figure it out 😆)

  5. Kristi says:

As in observance of your way of looking at summer, our high temperature today dropped to 70! Temps are supposed to be back in the 90s later this week, though, so although our days are now shortening, we will enjoy some more summer weather.

we’re into our hot-part of summer (won’t be surprised to have it change to frost warnings to follow our current heatwave)
