‘Monday Morning Grids ‘n Grits’ …the Wakefield Doctrine (this thing is meant to be useful, people!)

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

superfriends

The Wakefield Doctrine:

is is not
 a tool  the Answer
 fun  work
 interesting  boring
an insight into the behavior of others  a club to be used with good intentions
 for you  for them
a way to see the world  a way to hide from the world
unique  like those other personality systems
a way to self improve yourself  prove yourself to them
a way to get that girl to….  a way to get away from that guy
good for classroom work  good for homework
a way to understand behavior  kid yourself about your own behavior
 a perspective  a reason
easy to learn  hard to learn
 for everyone  for everyone

So hey!  just let us know how you’d  like to see the Doctrine help you and we’ll totally let you know how to use this thing.

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. My favorite being the way it is for people to see each other’s good intentions!

Look at you, all organized with a chart! I do find it interesting and fun, yet I’m still working on the understanding part of it. I have yet to grasp what a roger is. Mostly because I haven’t really tried. Surprised? :)

no! lol (but for a reason that I won’t offer, ’cause it would make it sound more difficult than it really is*. You ‘see’ the clarks and you see the (other) scotts… rogers? everyone else)

      * not a bad or weird thing, just potentially confusing

  3. Insight and self-improvement. Because I’m enjoying seeing the latter happen…

A way to get that girl to….what? Do the dishes? Shine yer shoes? Break dance? Hmmmm, the possibilities are endless.
:) Very interesting list. Me likey. So what do the Super Heroes at the top have to do with the list? If one of them were a Clark, which one would it be? Robin?

lol (…welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine)

Actually the photos have nothing (directly) to do with the Doctrine… I feel I have been successful in image selection when, after writing and publishing the Post, I go back and: a) laugh or 2) mutter “what the hell is that doing there?”

  5. zoe says:

even if it IS unrelated ya gotta love the SuperFriends… I find myself still struggling (for lack of a better word) with identifying traits of the big three…I guess because everyone is so interchangeable…

    • zoe says:

Mr. Kent would be the Clark right…lol….ugh…

try this: (all people develop coping strategies, in reflection of the reality that they exist in: clarks think, scotts act and rogers feel)
      or
clarks are Outsiders, scotts are Predators and rogers are Herd Members
