Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
For all the videophobes in our Readership, I will now translate to the written word what I was trying to verbalize in today’s video. (bullet points du jour, mais bien sûr !)
The Wakefield Doctrine:
- fun (for you and your friends or you by your-own-damn-self)
- productive and useful (for you… remember what we say! “the Wakefield Doctrine is for you, not them”)
- unique (find me another personality assessment system that will connect Ken Burns to berets or combat boots to lingerie, I dare you… I double dare you!!)
- tells you more about the (other) person than they know about themselves! ( you know that rogers act on the basis of referential authority…do they? damn straight they don’t!!)
- is easy to learn (it’s simply a set of characteristics of a worldview, not a long list of questions or axises or chi-damn-square measurements!)
- works by itself! learn the three worldviews, correctly infer the pre-dominant worldview of another person and you, my friend, are in business
- we did say fun, didn’t we? well, I will say it again…and a little secret fact about the Doctrine… no!! not here… down 2 more bullet points, I’ll write it backwards
- has hats!!!
- has DocTees too!!
- outsiders insiders become at the ole Doctrine spread
FINALLY…. Good move Progenitor. Now I don’t have to yell at you tonight.
lol
