Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
What kind of week has it been? To paraphrase (future-FOTD) Ice Cube ‘…this week was a good week’
Two big events:
A) our First Wakefield Doctrine Mid-week Study Hour came off with several hitches! (and)
2) the Class of (“…the 2nd or was it the 3rd week of October?”) New Readers introduced theyselves to the DownSprings and them, (Class Motto: “…you call those difficult questions?! We laugh at your Degree of Difficulty! now where’s our damn DocTees?“)
Yes sir! We had a Study Hour and everyone was there…eventually. Steve Crabtree arrived, a bit on the late side, claiming that he couldn’t sign-in because the Access Code that we sent him had the “wrong” “numbers”. Hey, Steve, if you wanted correct math, you should have asked a roger!
Wakefield Doctrine Mini-Fact: rogers excel as accountants and chemists and engineers, because for them, not only does 2 + 2 = 4, but it always =4! Every damn time!
Now if you ask a clark if 2 + 2 =4, there is a good chance they will reply, “Sure! …in what context?”
and a scott? well go ask a scott if 2 + 2 = 4 and they’ll say: a) “sure baby, 4 you anything” or b) “who the hell wants to know!” (…today’s Wakefield Doctrine Mini-Fact …because we are pretty sure you wanted to know!)
And that new ‘Class of some-week in October’? A very, very sharp group of Readers! I’ve already gone on record saying that we look to the new Readers to help us develop our skills in presenting this here personality theory here. But clearly we need to stay on our toes, and order extra DocTees! Keep your eyes out for this bunch. you know… Cari and Cyndi and Emily and Janine and Michelle and…

In Texas terms, we say Well SHIT! I got tied up (I wish) with junk and missed the drive. However, I did call about now. So, what did I miss? I was in an assload of past tape, music stuff, and got distracted. How inane is that? Well, I hope enough Rogers filled the bill, or at least, controlled the beasts. Damn. Well, next time. That’s what she said. I’ve been busy with a guy in Atlanta, a music industry guy, who wants to maybe tap my skull for work.
Tap my skull. Yeah, I know, it’s Helloween and all, but, this was biz. And, I’ve been in the vault all day (do not think of Ed Allen Poe on this one), man I’m a torn guy tonight. Thinking about new songs, love, hate, relationships, men, women, all that xo stuff. Is it cheating to chat with a female online you seem to desire from a distance? This is serious crap. She is the ultimate in music and I, a dimwit, go with her down this road – glad she is in Cali. Man, is this even possible? The connect is strong and growing and I’m afraid – afraid of me. I am just insane at the moment and I blame it all on the WF doctrine! She is a Clark, no doubt, but a wonderful – no, stop. It’s not going there. We just have music in common. She wrote a song, and it is killing me, it’s so good. She knows and I know. I’m married, and damn, it’s just friends, right? Right. There is no such thing as long distance internet cheating, right? Right. Ok. I’m smoothed out now. As a question, and I’m sure you will all weigh in – is there such a thing as ‘internet cheating’? Chatting? Talking? Change.
How was the Drive tonight? *sighs. Hope it went well, please inform me. Btw, thanks for the shirt, a bit small, but I can deal with that, the least of my mental issues. Useful info here – Rogers ARE attracted to Clark women, in my case, that show an INTEREST in such Rogerian men. The damn thing about it is the weakness of not trying to be such a Roger, that I go to Clarksville with, uh, this person. So . . . well, what did I miss?

Ok…we are all here…just outside the pool of light, the center of which you are sitting in
(damn, someday! we’ll have interview inquisitions where we all get to wear black robes (and fuzzy slippers) and sit in judgement of the new member of this here group here)

yeah it was Molly and Jennifer and DS#1 we had a good Call… the stand-outside-the-doors-cause-the-library-just-closed sort of Call-in 3 clarks… one scott ( Jennifer seemed to enjoy it nearly as much as we did, but scotts get…a little…impatient with the conversational vortex that gets created when 2 or more clarks get into a discussion without the counter balance of a scott or a roger. Having said that, it was a good Saturday drive (again with the Ice Cube!)… we un-covered some interesting aspects of clarklike interactions with a group.
Should save the rest for tomorrow’s Post!
But, I’m thinking the sooner I get this thing set up as a digital radio program, the better. As long as it has call-in capabilities, it should be a much more ‘first-caller-friendly-environment. That way, a new Reader could simply listen in on our totally fascinating conversations and would know that it was alright to call in, as nothing awful ever happens to a caller, on the first couple of calls. lol
