Tuesday -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Very enjoyable (and insightful) Comment/Reply from our regular Readers this week:

Mimi:

The “nice and friendly” is my rogerian secondary showing off so as a Clark-like female I don’t make enemies

This in response to our assertion that several of the clarklike Readers of this blog “there are clarks i.e. Mimi and our T-shirt model above (Cynthia) who are genuinely nice, friendly and not (necessarily) kinda intimidating.” (From Monday’s post)

Misky:

Nice analogy — that optometrist thing.

A totally appreciated compliment for part of our Reply to Frank’s Comment, i.e. learn the characteristic views of each of the three to the extent that one can see through their eyes, or, to be more realistic, to respond to aspects of the world sympathetic to Outsiders (clarks), Predators (scotts) or Herd Members (rogers). compare and contrast, yo.

Frank:

After reading the page of rogers, I’m beginning to think I might be a roger.

To which we replied:

ok… the beauty part of the Wakefield Doctrine is how it’s value lies in the individual identifying with their predominant worldview*. So cool. Dive into it. Remember: You can’t get it wrong. Will do tomorrow’s post on rogers…see how you feel about that

* reminder: optometrist ‘Look at Line 6 it is clear? Now (click of switching lens) How about now? And Is this clearer? Except the lenses are the world as seen by the three characteristic relationships (Outsider, Predator, Herd Member) and the letter chart is the world around you

And the thing of it is, the kind of people who ‘get’ the Wakefield Doctrine, are, by definition, those who embrace their curious side and have the (intellectual) self-confidence to play with ideas and perspectives and such. You know, them what have secondary clarklike aspects. lol

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Frank Hubeny says:

Today I will wear the clark glasses.

  2. I should have added, although, as a mama, I can also give a very good scary mom stare.
