Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
You know, it’s not as easy as it looks to write these Doctrine posts!
Take today’s title’s assertion “something…something-something…mildest day of the week”
As Curator, we smile simply because, for us, that is true. Of the days of the week, Tuesday is the best.
But then we think (bar rum bump! lol), “Yeah, but what does the word ‘mild’ do for those living in the personal reality of the Predator or the Herd Member?
…nothin’ good. (at least for an Outsider)
but …but! We are fortunate in having Readers such as Mimi and Frank and Misty (and Cynthia and Denise)
They kinda, with their Comments, pretty much write Doctrine posts they-own-selfs.
Here is Mimi Commenting on yesterday’s post of the benefit (and challenge) of translating between personal realities (of clarks, scotts and rogers):
It sounds like the guy who tried to write a translation dictionary once upon a time for people from Tibet to teach them English. From what I read, he had a Tibetan to French dictionary, so translated everything into French, then took a French/English dictionary and translated it again. It didn’t work too well.
To which we Reply’d
no. no it would not (have) lol
now…now!!! take the framework of what you describe: (“We call that a car”) (‘Well, we call it a ‘voiture.”) (“You two must be on drugs! that’s obviously a རླངས་འཁོར།”)
All of which despite disagreement is nevertheless reasonable as the human brain/mind assigns symbols, vocal and otherwise to the world and it’s objects
but now, replace each context with:an intellectual concept & a physical action & emotional expression
can I get an aiiyyeee
Can I get one, indeed!
Mr. Starr… play us out if you will

jeez, your Curator is such a clark!

Tuesday does seem to be the best day of the week (but I’d probably say that about the other days as well). I wonder what the word “mild” does for a scott or roger? The “nothin’ good” has got me wondering (that is, worried).
Tuesday was originally supposed to be my day off. Oh, well.
