Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
The is the Wakefield Doctrine’s weakly contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT), (Unofficial motto: “Welcome even those clark/Outsider weirdos? …well, sure, why the heck not? Let’em in!!“) Each week all blog-writers and Readers are invited to join in our little exercise in the deliberate practice of gratitude. The beauty part, (as Lou Collins used to say), is that both writing and Reading here can be beneficial. Call it an exercise in ‘non-transactional relationships’ aka ‘identifying with others’.
Enough with the preachin’! Read. write. tell others about this ‘hop and have the best possible day today.

5) A Comment on a Six Sentence Story. In this case, it was nice to read that Misky enjoyed the Second Six Story this week. It was a continuation of a Serial Six that is, at last, beginning to cohere and we’ve finally reached the point in our multi-narrative story where almost all the MCs are in the same room together.
ProTip: treat each Grat as a gift and they will keep on giving. Case in Point: this Grat (#5), gives rise to a core grat in that Misky’s compliment was focused on a certain narrative style where a dialogue is presented with only one character. It’s fun and satisfying and we’re totally not worthy of the person who created this technique and inspired us to try. The ProTip? Make it a separate Grat!
6) Bob Newhart. When he started out, he created the bit/routine of presenting one side of a telephone conversation. This is the source of, well, the inspiration to try as evidenced in our Six Sentence Story.

In numerical order:
#4. That is a beautiful setting. Forests (and the sea) are where my heart resides, and what better way into a person’s heart than a bridge.
#5. Every word, sincere. Thank you for the mention.
Best wishes for your week.
Sturdy looking bridge. Is there fish or aquatic life in the water?
As always an excellent list and the bridge is simple and elegant in its own way.
I’m grateful for the Doctrine, for Clark, for clarks, for Phyllis, canine friends. I’m also in awe of that awesome bridge project! Woohoo! That’s some good stuff! Congrats on the finished(ish) project!
