Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
The is the Wakefield Doctrine’s weakly contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop. An exercise in the exploration, appreciation and nurturification* of the state of gratitude. Such an endeavor results in both increasing the levels of positive energy and providing a momentary diversion or (dare we say it) entertainment for visitors, contributors and Readers in the collection of accounts of err encountering the state of gratitude.
welll. that certainly was a clunky intro? but, serially, this ‘hop is fun and you (the Reader) are invited to join in with your own post listing ten people, places, things or events that make you think, ‘ok, that was not bad’ (or any other level for those more in touch with their emotional selfs.) lol

Agreed; counting our lucky breaks makes us feel happy again.
It has taken a studied effort on my part but this practice has yielded positive results for me
Adding to what Artmater said, seeing what others are thankful for adds to our happiness.
this is very true
I love ponds. Love how the world around one reflects back at you, calm as a whisper. All the best for the week, Clark.
yeah that mirror effect!!
(only thing, water-istically-speaking that can compete with it is on the all too rare occasion when the ocean is still …even bettererer…. more… being offshore usually early morning when the ocean is flat calm and the sky is over-cast ayiieee the horizon!??! where did it go?!)
sorry, one of your photos from your recent trip made me think of this
That disappearing horizon is often claimed as the explanation for the Bermuda Triangle (I believe).
yeah, it’s quite the experience
