Well, yeah, now that you mention it, that does raise the spectre of an inescapable infinite regression, gratitudinously-speaking. oh well.
This is still the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop. Founded in 1823 by a charwoman’s daughter. As a young person, our creatrix found herself stifled by the incoherent dialect of the King’s English spoken in the local school where she grew up, in East Ham-on-Rye, in County Lingerie, England. And so, she began to write a list of the things that she was grateful for and the rest is history. (Well, technically, if this description is immersive enough, the rest would become the future.)

Fun bookshelves and other stuff. Our vet’s office has a copy of the underwater dogs book to peruse while waiting.
yeah… the laundry utility room bookcases are the older, as when P completed the design of the cottage as her office and library many books are from her father’s library and such… but, serially, dogs can not be far behind

and…and! am gonna undertake an experiment! (in the photo) is a book ‘An Alien Heat’ a fantasy novel that I loved back in the day aka the ’70s Haven’t read it in a very long time, want to see if it’s still as wonderful as I remember… problem is no kindle version available. Gonna have to read it …analog! lol thing is print is small and I can’t find the enlarge button lol will let you know

for you, I will (also) recommend (one of) the books in the first photos: ‘An Alien Heat’ by Michael Moorcock. Written in 1972 it is a first of the ‘Dancers at the End of Time’ trilogy.

You cannot have such a cottage with out multiple bookcases. And comfortable chairs to sit in while reading!
