A sun dog!! I’ve never seen one in person. Not sure what you said in the video; the wind was a bit windy.
Have a lovely week, Clark!
You are only twenty minutes away from the ocean! That is a wonder Grat. I like that narrow boardwalk that Phillis and Una are walking on. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sundog or sun halo before.
yeah, nice thing about southern New England… small scale geography. that (Phyllis and Una) is our every-five-year bridge it alls access over a section of the pond to get to the stream that feeds it (the pond, not the bridge). yeah, cool eh?
A delightful list, and I saw one of those sun dogs once and did not know what it was.
thank you M
This week’s gallery is impressive. Love the ocean, tomato garden, the whipping winds & sun halo.
thank you c it was a fun one
The ocean, homegrown tomatoes and a sundog (very cool picture), a good list, all.
I hope you were wearing heavy duty gloves up past your elbows and boots up to your knees, lol. All kinds of crawly creatures no doubt living in that pile ‘o wood.
Lovely photos and am jealous about the ocean… There is something so calming about the waves… And my tomato harvest this year died… :(
Take care!
thanks R. yeah, there is nothing like the ocean (not even really big lakes, lol)
