Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
Thanks out to Frank for the following Comment (in reaction to Monday’s Doctrine post)
This is beginning to make sense: “clarks think, scotts act and rogers feel”
awwll…right! Frankie!*
Perhaps the simplest of all distinguishing characteristics of the three predominant worldviews.
Fun Fact: advanced students (should be able to) demonstrate the ability to spot a strong secondary clarklike aspects in a scott. (Need to be way careful not to be spotted examining a scott. Seriously. Stare at any domestic animal with excessive intensity, see what that gets ya. And they’re your friends.)
So… the photo at the top of this post.
Now that we think of it1, if we ever get to the level of visitors that warrants screening those who should enjoy the insight and advantage in the matter of human nature, aka Wakefield Doctrine U. all we’d need to is ‘hold up’ the photo and say, “Identify the clark, scott and roger in this here pictcha here.’
New Readers ~~~First Time Visitors
We have good news and we have better news!
The Good News: if you’ve made it this far, there’s a very good …. no, let’s not be coy, if you’ve read (from the top to the bottom and not just skipped to the bottom to find out if the good guy gets killed), you’re a clark. Welcome
The Better News: if’n you’re still reading in a slow, steady sequential pace, then you’re more-than-likely possessed of what is called a significant secondary clarklike aspect. Not to worry. It’s a good thing.
*our scottian secondary aspect**
** a clue to identifying scotts: given half a chance they will totally employ the diminutive form of a person’s name

This photo so stunningly demonstrates the Clark, the Scott, and the Roger. Now, let me return to my thinking. 💭😂
