This is the Wakefield Doctrine’s weekly contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop. Created by Lizzi R back in, like, 2013 or 2014 it has been published every week since.
Insider Info: when she started the practice, (of noting things to be grateful for), she tried 50 item lists! ikr? We’re Grateful that once she made the decision to create a bloghop around this most beneficial practice, she settled on the figure ten. Both as the size of the list and, quite innovative at the time, the number of Hosts. We got asked to join the ranks of hosts (lol) and we accepted the role and continue to this day.
Below is a list of the people, places, things and events that has, upon reflection, inspired within (us) a sense of gratitude.

Some churches are only used when there are services held inside. The caretaker locks the church from the outside and opens it the same way.

Nice video tour. Being in townhouses or condos for the past decades I forgot what it was like to have a real yard.
While not without a certain amount of mandatory work (aka yardwork) it is fun to have a yard (though, I suspect, few HOAs would permit a resident to have a front or side Meadow…see Grat 8)
Oh I love the little background info on it. Back then I was on Tumblr and an incognito blog and had no idea of such things as blog hops. Super cool.
Loves the list and I wish there were more people that woould write for TToT as it’s really oil to read abour all your lives.
Found so many creat blogs to follow through these hops. My love for readiyhas taken a new shape hah.
though they say ‘levels of blogging have diminished since the late 10s, early teens, I choose to embrace the ‘Not as far as I can ‘see’. The virtual world is always as big as you need it to be… just gotta keep looking.
