TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Doctrine’s weekly contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful(TToT) bloghop. An exercise in the appreciation of the positive elements of daily life, each week participants link their own list of ten things (in their lifes) that have elicited and otherwise inspired the all-too-rare (speaking only for ourselfs, of course) state of gratitude. As with any exercise, repetition enhances the capacity to continue. With the state. Of Gratitude.

ya know?

Following is our list.

1) Phyllis

2) Una

3) the Wakefield Doctrine

4) the Six Sentence Story bloghop

5) meltage: temperatures above freezing!

6) random photo (well, yeah, even though it’s old and all, ain’t no statue of limitations on grats.)

7) the tech to make ‘all this’ (lol quantity people, not quality) possible

8) something, something

9) continuing (relatively) good health and/or physical condition (chipping ice and such, don’cha know)

10) Secret Rule 1.3

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Misky says:

Isn’t that feeling of gradual warmth returning just the most delicious thing ever!? I sat on the garden steps on Thursday (wrapped in a woollen shawl) and sipped a cup of coffee in the sunshine. By noon, it was raining again. One must never let an opportunity slip by unnoticed.

All the best for the week, Clark.

  2. Chipping ice and such, or moving furniture to vacuum under it. Either way, better to wear out than rust, right?

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      totally agree
(will add what you already know: remember your physics! forces and vectors and such. figure the physics and spare the muscular-skeleton nerves and such lol)

  3. Cai says:

It must have been fun to write on the grass.

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

actually what appears to be something brown applied to a green background is dirt… I dug up the grass lawn in the shape of our dog Una’s name planted vegetables later to moderate success

  4. “repetition enhances the capacity to continue” True statement.

Above freezing! May the temperatures rise well above freezing. A lot of white to whittle up there.
    Gardens. They should be fun.
    Hear! Hear! to #9.
