Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

‘drawing’ created for this week’s TToT. an extension of the clarklike quality being discussed in today’s post
Today’s post title?
(Glad you asked/thought-ballooned…)
What’s up with that?/lol you fricken clarks!/hate to say it, but you misspelled the title.
(and, no, we don’t think we can keep up with the ‘each of the three predominant worldview comments schtick’)
The title of today’s post is an illustration of one of the aspects of the clarklike predominant worldview that concerns itself with intelligence.
clarks have very little concern with the opinions of others in regards to their (the clarks, not the others) intelligence.
New Readers!! Pay Attention. You need to be aware, if this is not your very first Doctrine post, that the Everything Rule will require ‘the other two’ (in this instance, scotts and rogers) have a parallel (trilateral!??!) view on the matter of one’s own level of intelligence.
We mention this for two reasons: 1) because it provides a basis for a certain construction found in the more advanced levels of the principles of the Wakefield Doctrine and b) it’s one of the more fun aspects of writing about the Doctrine, i.e. whatever can form a description of one of the three, must apply to all three
….sorry, off on a tangent. Originally going to write about the storylines currently running in our contributions to Denise’s Six Sentence Story bloghop… the Café and the Ian Devereaux (serials)
but! damn! the Doctrine is fun to write about! to wit: was determined to close out today’s topic with an anecdote from the early days when we noticed that when an incorrect word appeared on our telescreen, that if it was obviously our thoughts, we’d enjoy the occasional neologism…
ProTip: about those neologisms and the whole intelligence thing… scotts and rogers can be foregiven for thinking that clarks (yours truly in this case) are the introverted (kinda), hate the spotlight (usually) passive personality type… (when it serves) however there is very much an anarchistic streak running through the predominant worldview of the Outsider (clarks). Usually kept under-wraps but… ha ha
back to closing out this topic properly: if clarks don’t care about the opinion of others vis-à-vis a clark’s intellectual capability, what about scotts and rogers?
(There it is! That darn Everything Rule)
- scotts will employ incorrect vocabulary. usually as the result of improper pronunciation (’cause …scotts! lol) ex. ‘condominimum…’
- rogers (and this is the lightbulb moment inferred in the sentence starting ‘We mention this for 2 reasons:” above) the misuse of words (and phrases) is a delightful and thoroughly aggressive effort (with it’s own terminology in the Doctrine) known as a ‘rogerian expression’. example: “Sure, as a real estate agent he makes a lot of sales, but most people think he is far too self-absorbent.”
ok that’s it for this morning
be sure to tune in tonight for a continuation of our three intertwined Serial Sixes:
- Six Sentence Story -the Wakefield Doctrine- [a Café Six] Rosetta and the Sophomore
- Six Sentence Story -the Wakefield Doctrine- [a Café Six} Lou
- Six Sentence Story -the Wakefield Doctrine- [a Café Six] Ian Devereaux

“Usually kept under wraps…”
Until it’s not. Then, best to step out of the way, lol
I kinda like the misspellings, they grow on you, ya know?
Yes, yes I do
;p
