TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Wakefield Doctrine’s contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop.

This week, we provide photo-clues to the people, places and things that have caused us to feel gratacious.*

1) Una

2) Phyllis

3) the Wakefield Doctrine

4) the Zombie Christmas Project Chapter: Ate (No, as a matter of fact, we have not given up on this yet…)

5) the paint-the-porch project (Warning! Strictly Filler Grat here. The picture? So that’s what imparts credibility to a: “I’m grateful for Ace (‘Ace-is-the-Place’) Hardware store” So, that all it takes to claim grat legit these days!!?

6) sure, why not? have you read any Wakefield Doctrine TToT lists before this?!? Hey! nearly genuine Grat: I remembered to take a Before photo of the paint-the-porch-aganza (funny how, as a clark, I rarely remember to document those of my efforts to alter the world.)

Before:

After:

7) the Six Sentence Story bloghop

8) something, something

9) weird-ass animal noises in the middle of the night… sounds like we have a family of jackalopes or chupacabra what moved in to our woods… like a feral cat on LSD. If we hadn’t already completed this week’s TToT we totally would have added: ‘Indoors’ (subset: walls and windows and doors that don’t open less’n you want them to.’)

10) Secret Rule 1.3

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

That paint project is an amazing transformation!! Happy Fur-Baby Mother’s Day to Phyllis, by the way. Loved seeing all these projects! And of course the music. And as a side note: I hope to call in next week. I had it all slated to do that last night but then I ended up having a phone emergency with my sister (all is well now). Those design projects have kept me away…for better or for worse, lol. But I will talk to you soon!

Haha. You can do whatever you’d like. Hehe. One day at some point I would love to get back into regular ol’ blogging of things. Whew….funny how life’s plans steer us in different directions.

Ps – that Fat Domino video is awesome! I’m really getting into Boogie Woogie and blues and even this swing music is great!

  3. Now the porch has fresh paint and all beautified…no walking on it, lol.
btw, am a fan of “before” and after “pictures”.
    The music today. Dig it.
…naah, don’t want them to, that – would be scary, lol

A good hardware store, that smells like a hardware store and they know how to help you learn to DIY, is a blessing.

interesting I have not identified (up here) any o-de-Ace (now bowling alleys, there’s a scent to reckon with… haven’t been in one is a very, very long time but I’ll bet the aroma of borrowed shoes and disinfectant is still there for me_
