TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Only fair to warn you, the Ten Things of Thankful blogpost that follows is a bit out there, even by Doctrine standards.

(Full Disclosure: It’s Friday morning, top of the day. Concepts and ideas for the weekend’s post tend to fly around our mind like fireflies that grew up on the shores of Lake Amphetamine. The brighter the flash of biolum, the shorter the life span. Usually the light obscures the obstacles ahead, but, you know, Lake Amphetamine? In any event, sometimes the attraction of an idea defeats the oversight that seems necessary to creating something that has wider appeal than the interior of freshly-caffienated brain.)

When the Foundress gave us the Ten Things of Thankful bloghop, back on the Eve of the Great War, she also provided licence to participants to be as creative as possible.

OK to start, disregard the Full Disclosure, it’s Sunday evening, here is the Land that Time Misplaced. (Sure, sorta like Neverland, ‘cept with adults trying to remember a childhood that holds one of the keys to making sense of the present and near-term future. You know, like most blog writers).

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

Your list was just terrific, and the blast from the past with your link was fun! Look how many entries we used to get! How do we get that back?!

  2. Some lists are just like that — so very different, and yet not.

I loved reading that post from back in 2013 before I had even started participating in this blog hop.
I hope the shrinking of participants doesn’t mean that people aren’t as thankful as they once were. Could it be that because there are so many more social platforms now that people are expressing their thankful thoughts daily via these other mediums. Just a thought.
BTW, that was a great chart you shared in your 2013 post.
