TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the weekly edition of the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop. All those, of like mind, are invited to share the people, places and things that have elicited the state of gratitude in their recent (or, not so recent) lives.

5) Josie for stepping up when the time for change required a new hostinae primae

6) Denise (and Zoe before her) for the Six Sentence Story

7) Serial story-writing the Case of the Missing Fig Leaf and The Whitechapel Interlude

8) technology and cutely photogenic fauna

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. We get some small wildlife, but not usually deer. They still fascinate me. Love your list.

  2. Aw-w – look at baby Una :) For sure a thankful.
And so many deer in your yard. Cool.
#’s 3-7 are an excellent reminder of how great this thing the internet thing is. Its ability to connect people from all over is awesome indeed. I am very thankful for all the people in your list and everyone else that I’ve met through writing in this online community. Yup. Technology has its major +’s :)

  3. Pat B says:

Wow! Phyllis doesn’t need to worry about socially distancing on that beach! A mess ‘o deers, I guess! What was on the menu?

hard to see in the photo*, but this would have been the late winter when Una arrived from the Czech Republic. Of our dogs, Una is the only one who was not overly impressed by the ocean. Or any water, for that matter. she has long hair and has never been comfortable getting wet.

*our black-on-black dog who defies definition

  4. How wonderful to return to the sweet simplicity of the things that make your life good! I envy you both that lovely stretch of uncrowded beach, and deer in the yard almost magical. Here we have ground squirrels, rabbits, way too many doves, and the occasional roadrunner or coyote. I am so thankful to have had a part in promoting both TToT and 6SS, great places to meet up and share with awesome folks!

  5. Kristi says:

That’s quite the herd of lawn-mowers, as my dad would say.

  6. Lisa Tomey says:

Dear me! There are a lot of deer!!
