First Video Post of 2014 the Wakefield Doctrine (so many ways to learn!)

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Lets start the year off right… live action.

It’s already the middle of Thursday, so I’m going to post this today and then do a more traditional Post tomorrow!

(Hey!! Cyndi… 42 words!!!  is this like Jeopardy where I can put this tiny number of words into my account, to be used to offset the first Post that I do that will surely be the beginnings of my back-sliding ways?)

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

lol!! this is (among other fine things) going to be the Year of ‘the First Comment’!!
it’s about damn time that the skill, drive, determination, insight, sexual attractiveness, intellectual prowess (yeah, I said prowe-esss !!) and general coolness that are qualities of all of us how manage to snag ‘the First Comment’ receive the respect it is so due!

yeah… hey you want to try an ‘early’ start? say, 7:00 EST?

  2. zoe says:

    second.
    Just bites….oh well…

I love the drive…its like being in one of those old arcade racecar games but at 50mph!

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      zoe

yeah did you see that truck in the beginning?!? (I only noticed on the replay how frickin close that guy came to taking off my sideview mirror… what the hell! couldn’t he see that I was busy?)*

*lol “…police report contains statements from witnesses to the accident as saying ‘well, the driver was talking and gesturing and it was like, you ever see one of those time silent movies with the exaggerated expressions on the actors faces? the guy was like frickin Rudolp Valentino, I tell ya!’

  3. zoe says:

I just went back because I didn’t notice…its not that noticeable on the video…but right before he passes you you can see him cross the line toward you. I did notice youre a stop sign roller…

I used to study in my car and often wondered what people were thinking when they saw me talking to myself and gesturing all the way to my destination. I think the Valentino analogy is pretty accurate lol!

(since I seem committed to the ‘one take’ approach to v-blogging*) I really enjoy the challenge of working in the car

      * the cool bloggers seem to prefer the term v-blog and/or podcast… maybe someday!

  4. zoe says:

Oops blew the proofing resolution! “Did notice!!!!”

    • zoe says:

I laughed crazy at the vid…love chaplin…do you just have a working knowledge of this kind of stuff?

      • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

which kind of stuff? …the working knowledge thing, I could get ahead and make a reference to the characteristic accumulation of knowledge and information that is the birthright of all us clarks…

        • zoe says:

You always seem to have an appropriate vid to use…that stuff…we all have our own stuff…yes?

        • Me! Me! Let me make the reference to the “characteristic accumulation of knowledge and information that is the birthright of all us clarks…” We be walking hard drives.

Hey, I’ll be late for the vid chat tonight. Weather bad and a long commute from work. Wait for me eh guys?! Speaking of, need to go scrape the ice offa my car.

  5. christine says:

I always enjoy our little drives through New England. Question though, do you wear your seatbelt??? What is that red light on your dash? You better be wearing it, Dude. Or be getting your car fixed. :)

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      christine

I know that you know that your people are characterised, by, among other features and qualities having ‘eyes like a hawk’ lol seriously not just good eyesight… the ‘gaze of a scott’ is simply unmistakeable… (look at the three men in the photo from yesterday… tell which of the three is ‘the soctt’, left, middle or right’?

      • christine says:

Nice try using all those words to NOT answer the question. I’m going to assume you don’t wear your seat belt. The way you drive… Put the damn seat belt on!

        I scold because I care. :)

  6. jny_jeanpretty says:

Very awesome and fun, despite the fact that you just do not appear to understand what a STOP sign is for!
You may be a clark, but you are wild man. Whoa!!!
driving with you talking is a trip and a half!!!
    juhnny

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      juhnny

hey, at least I’m filming the hat on the dashboard and not trying some cinema selfie!! (Why yes, Officer, I need run that stop sign, but to be honest, I’m must plead ‘Mise-en-scène’ )

      lol

(here are some interesting choices: join us on the Wakefield Doctrine ‘I-know-it’s-Friday-night-and-don’t-you-hate-the-crowds-I’d-much-rather-stay-in’ Friday Vid Chat tomorrow evening beginning at 7pm EST or join us for a Wakefield Doctrine Sunday Morning Video Brunch or on our Saturday Night Call in on.. well, you know.)

it’ll be fun and besides we haven’t had a scott participate since…. like, back around Thanksgiving, when Christine joined us…. (and before her, we had Dyanne join us on one of the first Sunday Morning Vid Brunches…
