Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
Shh! the movie is about to start…
14 minutes?! no, seriously!! it is??! damn! hey! Mr Doctrine, have you looked at a calendar recently? Average running time of video-based info-tainment is so not in the Matrjoschka category, so what you say you give us a break with the 14 minute running time, yo.
Ok relax, here is a handy guide to the video for anyone who does not have the time (clark), the attention span (scotts) or the willingness to watch a clark be the center of attention (rogers):

Cyndi so is DownSpring Cyndi over at ‘the ‘tude‘
Thank you for your recap, because as much as I love to listen I can’t, because I have a Lily who won’t nap crawling all over while I should be working, lol!! And now she is pulling me long hair. YEs, so my life aren’t you jealous not!! Seriously wonderful post and what is this about a contest!! :)
@Janine
I actually have a sense of what you are referring to, in a roudabout way… our first dog Ola, was very much my dog (in the way that dogs pick one human as alpha of the pack) and she would watch me work at the computer…for a certain length of time. And then she would insist that we do something fun (to help: 85lb German Shepherd sitting next to me and putting her paw on my leg and …insisting. lol she was strong enough to move me in the wheeled-office chair.)
It was wonderful to see those wide roads and listen to you…multi tasking indeed :)
@Ruchira
if was fun to drive the route of a Saturday Night Drive route in the middle of the day…can’t wait for Summer!
Thanks for the breakdown! Needed that to ff to the bit I wanted (clark)
@Considerer
yw glad it helped. seeing there is such a Time Zone gap… I want to find a way to fill in the blanks… the thing with the Doctrine is not that people can’t figure it out for themselves, at least not the people we are meeting at this stage…mostly clarks, with a handful of rogers and scotts with very strong clarklike secondary aspects but the thing (about this thing) is that there are little angles and inferences that while not essential to understanding this thing or even to ‘working’ the Doctrine, will make a lot of difference for the user, on today’s vid I really liked the thing about how the Doctrine is ‘for you, not for them’ as an expression of how, unlike a lot of other personality theories, we’re not out to learn how to change the other person, but how to open ourselves to our potential to see the world as the other person is seeing it.
Anyway glad it helped… will no doubt use it again.
Great ride! As I rode along in the passenger seat I could see how little it has changed there. (good thing)
As we passed the towers, I “felt” the nostalgia of having lived one street over(rogerian aspect); indulged in remembering my Sunday morning walks to the wall so I could sit and drink in the ocean.
Back then, I was a clark. With underdeveloped 2ndary and tertiary aspects. Now I’m a clark in progress. LOL I’m different for actively recruiting/developing/grooming? my other 2 aspects. So, if I were to transport myself to Narragansett today, would I experience it as more of my predominant clarklike self? Would my better developed scottian aspect get excited and take the lead or would I get or feely as a roger? The place is the same. I am not. The people are the same. I am not.
Point of the babble? Places and people in general do not change. Only I can “change”/self-develop, etc. therefore the onus is on me to understand and take responsibility for what happens moving forward.
(gulp……HEY! Whadja put in my cereal this morning? HUH?!….)
@Denise
…the reality changes! (how could it be otherwise?) of course that begs the question, ‘how do you know?’
lol
Duh! See the little profile pic of me? Yeah, sitting on the seawall there in Narragansett on a visit long ago……I’m homesick!
you know….it changes because my perception of it has changed….for my having broadened/enhanced/developed my ability to experience it (the world) in a more scottian and/or rogerian manner:)
Okay…so I interact with the scotts by shutting up, breathing deeply, smiling like an idiot and having moments where I DO enjoy it. :) HAHA!
Fun video…watched most of it. But now, I have a bazillion things Ima gonna do today including my own blog post for later…hehehe.
@Cyndi
large dog running towards you: a) Cesar Millan (hsst) b) Hannibal Lecter walking without fear up to them c) or the natural clark… hand out, dispassionate regard (that we are all capable of )…
have fun! will look for your post at the ‘tude!
