Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
Hello, Good Morning and today I would like to talk about how, the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers has something to offer (almost) everyone, in the course of (almost) any day.
Exhibit A:
a roger?, in this case, you don’t need to bother…but you get the idea.)
Fun call-in last evening. After all the socializin’ I did yesterday, I’m STILL tired, lol.
You’re right, though…it’s all about analyzing the impetus behind and the motivation for the behavior. It’s also important to remember that people express all three types at one time or another…though my rogerian self, admittedly, gets set on the backburner like a burned pot of beans. HA!
Have a great Sunday! (Oh yeah…it’s Easter, huh? I should call my mom or something….)
@Cyndi
lol we are so not programmed with the proper Holiday-istic behavior, are we?
Too tired to even process right now and am in between family easter meals (brunch is over, but dinner still awaits!!). But just stopped by to say hi and tell you I love watching observe people and how they react to certain scenarios. Wonderful Sunday post and glad you had another great Sunday night call in. Happy Easter, too!! :)
@Janine
and I enjoy your Confessions blog as well, for a similar (in a metaphorical sense) yet, at the same time, very different experience (this blogosphere pretty damn amazing, non?)
The first time I got the bill this way, I didn’t read the envelope until I’d opened it wrong. The second time, I discovered they’d failed to make enough holes to easily tear off the bottom, and so I used the scissors. From that point on, the envelops were right and the process easy. Still, I’ve found that I can call them and avoid the process, as well as amount deducted from my checking account mistakes. So, I call them (various things and usually from my home phone just to confuse them) and forget the envelope. Save me from writing a check, too. Still trying to figure out if I’m getting old and lazy, or just allergic to writing with a pen. Good post, my friend!
@Rich
Yeah, what I don’t show is the envelope that I will be mailing back… I use tape, a lot of tape, lol we clarks have a certain aggressive, albeit frequently passively so, side and despite the possibility that my check and bill will never arrive, I will show them what I think of their stupid envelope!
