“testing! testing! if you can read this, Nod your head” (thank god, I thought something weird was happening at the blog)

What the hell!

Alright, enough of you nodded your damn heads, except the rogers out there! Hey, rogers! are you that insecure that you can’t stand to be in a situation where all faces do not ‘seem’ to be pointed at you? Your little scottian friends don’t mind, (they just want to have fun) and your eternally patient clarklike companions…well they take the virtue of patience and turn it into a vice of the worst sort. A patient clark is like a heroin addict, they will do anything for the thing they think they need and during the time they are being deprived, they pretend they have a choice.

Look, Readers…we know that at this stage of the game you are most likely clarks or rogers looking over the shoulder of the clark (that knew that you would like this). Well fine, we are just finishing up the ‘Early Years’ of the Wakefield Doctrine  so indulge while you still can… It will soon be time to stop with the games and the ‘fun’ and do something with this Doctrine thing. What do I mean?

  1. the Wakefield Doctrine is a tool that is only useful to you….you will never change that roger or scott who, you believe, is standing between you and a happy life
  2. the Wakefield Doctrine will put you in a position to know what the other person will do in virtually any situation…and still you will insist on playing your part in causing them to act that way
  3. the Wakefield Doctrine allows you to know the people in your life, better than they know themselves….and you persist in thinking that that is enough!  grow the hell up…this thing is a tool! It is not, I repeat, it is not an answer

Well have a beautiful day, Life is Good and if it is not, you know where you can find us…..

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKIN’ ABOUT! TOUGH LOVE. YOU TELL ‘EM!

As a fellow clark I already know your reaction (you, the Progenitor clark) to the above but it’s not what you think! Sure it smacks of sarcasm but that is typical clarklike shit.

You speak the truth. Plain and simple. The Doctrine is what it is, can’t be disputed and is without question a thing that is “for you, not them”. There is no doubt it’s the most valuable tool I have discovered. Since we are getting all in your face about stuff today…..in my opinion, once the premise of the Wakefield Doctrine is accepted the world has already changed. Plain and simple. It can’t not change. Why? (the how can come later) Because now there’s boatload of answers to questions that, by their very nature, influenced life up until this point. “Now what?” Well, that’s the beauty thing – knowing the Doctrine can relieve pressure, it can offer the ability to communicate more effectively with others, it can provide encouragement…..whatever you need….. which all leads to living a less stressful, more productive, happier life. Any questions?

If you can trust the Wiki people, the piece in the vid was first performed by the Dave B Quartet in 1959 on an album entitled Time Out. That is cool. Think about it. (the clarks will get it first. lol)

I believe that beyond the tool, whomever has come to the doctrine to find answers, this is how you’ll get them. As Clark said, the Wakefield Doctrine is a tool not an answer… besides, the ones give you the answers are not helping you, in your reality whether you’d be a Clark, Roger or a Scott. The answers will always come from within and therefore, mastering a tool such as the doctrine can only be beneficial for your own well-being, your own path and your own answers…
Does that make any sense to any of you… what about you fellow doctriners?
    Have a wonderful Friday ^_^

The P.S. I forgot to insert? Whenever I hear the phrase “nod your head” this is what always plays in my head:)

This is really just an excuse to come back and see all the other comments. “What? There are no other comments? I see…..they’re not out of bed yet?”……
Well, wtf people! Think you really have tomorrow? Or the rest of the day for that matter?! Damn! Me, I’d be mighty disappointed if I didn’t do at least one thing today that made my life worth living.

  4. clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

totally correct, Claire this is a tool for all to use.

However, being clarks, we have this maddening desire to “help” “others” which, for the most part I resist…but then again, why shouldn’t we?

One of the first predictions of the Doctrine, when it went on the blog-scene, was that the first people we would attract would be clarks, not only because we tend to have the kind of imagination that makes this way of thinking easy to get…( we have scotts and rogers who ‘get’ the Doctrine quite well, which is good because they know things that we need to know, in order to make this thing of ours even better which translates to “have a wider appeal”.)

The challenge before us is to find ways to ‘explain’ the Doctrine It might be thought of as being a: ( instruction manual, for the rogers lol) and a ( 3 step instructions-on-the-side-of-the-box for the scotts… also lol ) All so that anyone who feels the desire to alter their path in life can come here, understand what we have and add the Wakefield Doctrine to their own personal coping-with-life toolbox…

Yes Claire! It makes sense to me. Glad to read your comment. When I left my second comment it had yet to be approved for our viewing pleasure.
To reiterate what you said, the Doctrine provides the tool by which you CAN find the answers. To whatever you want or need. Then it is up to you the individual to do the work. True what you say that the answers come from within.
And the biggest perk? It’s fun! Seriously, when you totally stump a scott or a roger who are waiting for a typical behavioral response (to them) and you do not provide that response, talk about upsetting the apple cart! In the least, tilting it a tad. Cool.
On a serious note, I have used the Doctrine more actively and consistently since the publication of this blog in my own life and have since benefited from it immensely. Honestly, more in the area of dealing with rogers. Life with them is still frustrating at times but much more pleasant. And, believe it or not, I have been able to slowly, in that sideways fashion clarks are known for, educate my own roger in residence to the benefits and beauty of the Wakefield Doctrine. You know what I’m talking about Claire:D

Jeez…the clarks sure got up early today…everything ok over there?

  7. RCoyne RCoyne says:

    I do…want to know…should I pull the wagons into a circle?

  8. clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

    nooo, mfr lol

Hey, your rank as Progenitor carries certain…responsiblities… nothing is necessary, nothing is easy all is good see that green bridge up ahead?

    lol

  9. RCoyne RCoyne says:

Ok, I’ll bite….Yes. I see the green bridge.

  10. clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

…sorry ( to the Readers..I have indulged in a literary reference, in general Castanada, specifically Carlos and don Juan in A Separate Reality)

In any event, I am, in my re-assurance to the Progenitor roger, re-stating our good intent, while reminding him that with change comes new responsibility, including but not limited to providing insight from the perspective of the worldview of a roger. That it is our understanding of what the world looks like to a roger that allows us (clarks and scotts) to further develop a language that we all can understand.

  11. RCoyne Rcoyne says:

Sounds like you need to examine the little ones to get to the big ones…

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

(Readers…the Progenitor roger is referencing a certain lady, whose aquaintence we all made in the 1970’s and this phrase is meant to infer that fundamentals are totally necessary to sucessful development of: an idea or a belief or a model car)
This is proffered viewpoint is proof of the (differing) worldview that comprises the reality of those we refer to as rogerian, as such the world which results in the personality type that we call rogers, is a world in which there are rules and order that exist separate from the experience of people (as individuals or as groups) and these rules and order and the correct way are guarantees of a certain outcome, provided the steps are followed.

  12. Clairepeek says:

Still a Clark got the last word, just saying… ^_^ no offense Roger… looking forward to reading more from your view point actually. Genuinely interested :)

  13. Downspring#1 says:

What fun it has been today. Enjoyed the conversation!

  14. Hey! If anyone sees RCoyne please tell him to contact GirlieOnTheEdge! The set is ready for his guest appearance. “What? He’s running late? Well, tell him to get his butt in gear, pronto!!

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

good luck with that, you know how rogers can be center-of-attention-wise

      lol

  15. Yes, I do know. Guess I’ll have to break out the riding crop.
