If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.*

Well I am looking forward to be in such a situation that I can observe the same way you do ^_^. As you repeatedly say, one cannot make this s**t up. BTW, great French!
lol… I think I like the story, in part, because at the beginning I was ‘stumped’ and seemingly unable to identify the personality types of the 4 girls. This should be taken as encouragement to all new Readers, when you have all the ‘information’ (about the three personality types) but cannot get a match that you are comfortable with, do not despair! ( as DS#1 is fond of saying, ‘it’s like applying a lens in order to view the scene/people. Try one and then the other and so on, one will match eventually and then when one matches, the rest of the pieces tend to fall into place.’)

And you have just taken the pressure off (of a lot of Readers, new and not so new). Who doesn’t like to people watch?!
It is a favorite pasttime of pretty much everyone.
Like you, I also figure that spotting the scott is the easiest, but when you come right down to it, it might be any of the other 2 that pop out first. LOL
It is also true that anyone can utilize the Doctrine.
Knowing the simple basics can take you a long, long way. Even MJM**, a roger no less, has a decent grasp on the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers. She will proclaim her disinterest in that disdainful-like way that rogers have and yet she is able to identify the clarks, scotts and rogers around her. And I would bet you (someone’s) bottom dollar (note to self: look up derivation of phrase. lol) she is secretly glad to have this advantage! She now knows the whys of the behavior of those around her. She, like all of us, may not necessarily like certain behaviors but now the puzzlement that sometimes accompanies witnessing such behavior has a simple explanation. An explanation which relieves the burden of what I call personalization.
