‘…like some cat from Japan’ the Wakefield Doctrine personality theory

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers )

We have much to cover and not much time.*   This week has been focused on our rogerian aspect, that most often mis-understood, over-self-appreciated part of the human psyche.  The ‘Moe’ of the three personality types of our little Wakefield Doctrine theory of personality. We heard briefly from the Progenitor roger earlier this week, waxing nostalgic for old and bygone blogs… but that is what rogers do.  Wait a minute… seein how we are starting to get a little ‘top heavy’ with the scotts ( I’m looking at you Alex(s))…this might be the best time to review the good and the bad of our social aspect:

the things about rogers that we all love / the things about rogers that we all really, really can’t stand:

  • they are responsible for there being civil and (relatively) stable societies in the world
  • they are responsible for there being intolerant and stultifying and rigidly bureaucratic cultures in the world
  • rogers are the Story Tellers of the world…(if there really were Brothers Grimm), then one of them was a roger
  • the rogerian aspect of our personalities brings us together, teaches us and preserves the advances made by all of us throughout time
  • rogers burn witches
  • (for the good of the community, of course)
  • rogers invented barbecue
  • without rogers (which means the rogerian aspect in each of us) we would all still be living on some savannah…furtively gathering food in the daylight,  drinking from waterholes alert for any movement in the overhanging trees… huddled together at night, trying to block the sound of the insatiable screams of the scotts out in the dark
  • science and (reliable) engineering… thanks roger!
  • medicine and insurance… er  sure  ‘ppreciate it roger
  • intolerance and mass media… yeah, we’ll get back to ya roger
  • they say that rogers  ‘feel’, they are the social aspect in all of us, that is fortunate
  • rogers created the internet…. (to allow the herd to find new, virtual fields to roam)… clarks decorate it and scotts….  they remind us that there is no security
  • rogers are the conversationalists, the musicians, the providers of reliable comfort….
  • all in all it is good to have a rogerian aspect to the human personality

What’s with this roger-centric thing this week?

Don’t really know, but we have the first Wakefield Doctrine hat (on a damn rogerian head) photo in from Alexandra… more to follow!! Molly will be doing the honors ( writing the Post spotlighting said hat)…watch these pages for the next few days!!

Lets close with a list of rogers:  James Spader, Kathy Bates, MJM, Phyllis, Bill Cinton, George Clinton, a lot of Presidents, Dr Phil, Dr Spock, Mr. Spock, Capt Kirk, Archduke Ferdinand, Fergie, Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ulysses S Grant, Ulysses, Cleopatra, Francisco Pizarro, Hernando de Soto, the Baileys of Balboa, Thurston Howell III, Fred Flintstone, Conan the Conqueror, Roger Williams, Cotton Mather, Marshall Mathers, Michele Obama, Dido, Pearl S Buck, Margaret Mead, Catherine the Great… and, of course, David Bowie

* today being Thursday, which means it is …”now what the hell am I going to talk about/talk to…why the hell did I ever start this Video Friday thing?!?

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Downspring#1 says:

Bowie a roger? Really?? Heroes – one of my favorite songs…(sigh)

Me? I’m going to show this post to any and all rogers I can today. Whether they know they are a roger or not!

  2. Molly Molly says:

That David Bowie song has always reminded me of this poem:

Little Willie, bored of stealing cars,
Swiped a rocket, flew to Mars.
There he pursued his normal pattern.
Now the Martians live on Saturn.

Maybe it is just the Mars thing…

…and I thought clarks were the creative ones — with their encyclopedias of useless knowledge — I figured they would have to design and build something representing shelter, no matter where they went. And rogers would be the ones who sat in tents and complained that no one was taking care of them — that *they* had not been given a shelter like the clark had!

  3. clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

…am feeling Bowie (is a roger) based on the ‘self-awareness’, lack of reluctance to be made the center of attention of… not getting a sense of predator from him ( as opposed to say, Mick Jagger)

  4. Downspring#1 says:

I am afraid I take exception to part of Miss Molly’s comment, (albeit knowing from whence it came. lol). The statement “with their encyclopedias of useless knowledge”. It be “useless” only if a clark does nothing creative with that knowledge.

Hm….new focus, redirection, this facet of rogers – their “self-awareness” and “lack of reluctance…….attention”. Will have to “examin” and re-examin em.

Thanks guys for some Doctrine cud to chew while I do time in groceryland!
