Video Friday Episode 11! the rogerian view of the Wakefield Doctrine

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine.  ( “A lot like Buddhism…’cept we have hats”! )

   (Mr. B?  the lights please!)

A system of personality types, which along with a starting premise that allows most people to ‘get it’ immediately, the Wakefield Doctrine is singularly helpful, useful and not just a little quirky …but always fun!
With the Wakefield Doctrine, you will never again have to ask the question, “Now why on earth would they feel it necessary to act like that?”

About DownSpring Joanne: a follower and fan of the Doctrine back when it was just, ‘the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers’, DJ brings an enthusiam to our discussions that many of  us have lost. Challenging many interpretations/application of types, she helps the rest of us remember the fun of the Wakefield Doctrine. A lot like when you were a kid and your father was washing the car, totally intent on getting it perfect (him being the roger that he was) and you saw no reason at all not to grab the hose and suggest a water fight!
Given the fun this video was, we actually ran over the youtube time limit! So to watch the rest of this most excellent of Doctrine Video:

( …and then again, if you want more Doctrine, as if this were not enough, you can always head on over to the Girlster  or  Hey, Sailor!  but better get yer mind right, fo you do!)

If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

Very good interview. I liked Part 2 as well.

Astute point voiced by DJ – at times it is difficult deciphering between roger? or scott? in certain circumstances. Maybe you could speak more about this?

…it’s always *personal* with a roger, scotts…sometimes but mostly (they) enjoy the energy of the interaction, not really big on implication, insinuation, personalization…you know, zations

Yeah, in fact there is an inherent functional superficiality present that often passes for interest…you know, alitys
