Month: July 2009 | the Wakefield Doctrine Month: July 2009 | the Wakefield Doctrine

clarkscottroger, it is the path to enlightenhood

With a basic understanding of the characteristics of each group (clarks, scotts and rogers), anyone can understand everyone else!  You will know how those around you will  act in virtually any situation. Finally you can understand what has never made sense to you about the people you work with, live with and/or are friends with. The answer to the question, ‘Why on earth would you do that/say that/feel that way?’

Here we are at the end of the month, rapidly approaching the our 30th (dayth) anniversary!  This blog remains the sole authority and repository of all knowledge of  ‘the Wakefield Doctrine’, (aka the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers).

If you are a first-time reader/visitor;  these Posts should provide an informative overview and the ‘Pages’  you see in the column to the right is the place to find (more detailed) information. As written at the top of this and all preceding Posts, ‘understand if a person is a clark or a scott or a roger and you will understand them as a person’. This is still true. Know this,  you will not only be able to understand the people around you, you will be able to know, in advance, how they will act/re-act to any situation. In short, life will make (a certain) sense to you.

NEW PAGE ALERT!!! I have changed the ‘Progenitors and Downsprings’  Page to the  ‘Hey! a little help over here’  Page. (It is not password protected, so step right up.)

This (new) Page is created in response to the need to make it easier for us to write Comments and make them easy to find.  Even the most patience-challenged reader (yes, I’m looking at you, glenn) will find this Page more useful. (This Page) is also meant to function as a forum; a place that (in this blog) that hopefully will have something of an immediate value to visitors, readers and contributors.

Read it.

Write in it.

clarks scotts rogers; theory of

With a basic understanding of the characteristics of each group (clarks, scotts and rogers), anyone can understand everyone else!  You will know how those around you will  act in virtually any situation. Finally you can understand what has never made sense to you about the people you work with, live with and/or are friends with. The answer to the question, ‘Why on earth would you do that/say that/feel that way?’

The idea here is to engage others in a discussion (of the Wakefield Doctrine); to read of personal experience(s) as a method of validation (of the efficacy of the Doctrine).

To this end we have these Posts, which are, in effect an ongoing conversation. In addition, the pages (listed in the right hand column), constitute a more formal presentation of the idea of clarks, scotts and rogers.

The goal remains the same: understand the Wakefield Doctrine and you will understand those around you; at home, at work, in the werld.

Alright, you have the basic concept. Lets talk about these others, the contributors to this blog. Referred to as Progenitors and Downsprings, they are a group of seven who have direct access to this blog so they can add content as well as comment.

Scott and Roger are (the other two) Progenitors and (in alphabetical order) Denise, Glenn, Joanne and Phyllis, (clark, scott, roger(prob), roger, respectively) Downsprings.

Come on, folks! Take a metaphorical bow.

While this is the initial group, the goal is to find others to contribute. In the best spirit of Darwin,  if you read, understand the Wakefield Doctrine and want to add to it, step right up. Claim your place.

aka clarks, scotts and rogers

With a basic understanding of the characteristics of each group (clarks, scotts and rogers), anyone can understand everyone else!  You will know how those around you will (tend) to act in virtually any situation. You will be able to make sense of what has never made sense to you about the people you work with, live with and/or are friends with.

So here we are, nearly a month into the project.

If you are reading this for the first time, welcome! This is (clearly) a work in progress, reading the preceding posts will help, as will the pages listed in the (right) sidebar.

The initial premise of this blog was to engage people of all three groups (clarks, scotts and rogers)  in contributing insight and knowledge to the understanding of the Wakefield Doctrine. But, as it is abundantly clear from this totally prolix and otherwise never ending sentence, it has been pretty much the clarks who have stepped up and put in the effort.

(Since it is key to theory of clarks, scotts and rogers that everyone has the qualities of all three groups, I am forced to try and address the scotts and rogers in a way that they can easily understand.)

HEY SCOTT(actually his downspring), CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING USEFUL TO THIS THING INSTEAD OF THE EASY YELLING IN CHURCH SHIT THAT WAS YOUR SOLE CONTRIBUTION.(LIGHT, DUDE, VERY LIGHT).

Oh, roger. You speak of having much to share with the vast herds of rogers that sweep across the prairie of the world, something that only a herd mind can hear. Share, roger share.

how all people are either clarks, scotts or rogers

With a basic understanding of the characteristics of each group, anyone can understand everyone else!

If you found this blog and are still reading, you will come to understand that by the definitions contained herein, everyone is either a clark, scott or roger.

While the pages of this blog will go into extensive detail on the subject, lets  ‘cut to the chase’.

If you feel this all too familiar, just a another form of what you already know, then go to the clark page;

If you are (already) getting impatient, then get to the scott page.

If you are thinking that this would be better  if it had photos of famous people, or some other endorsement or reference, then go to the roger page.

aka the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers

Welcome to our blog.

The Wakefield Doctrine is the proposition that all personality can be divided into 3 groups: clarks, scotts and rogers.    With a basic understanding of the characteristics of each group, anyone can understand everyone else.

(Thats right.    I did say  “anyone can understand anyone else”.)

(And, by understand I mean the  ‘why did they do that?/what could they be thinking?’ type of understanding.)

If you are reading this  for the first time, here is what we are doing:

people who have grasped the principles of clarks, scotts and rogers (the Wakefield Doctrine) are contributing content and thoughts, explanations and instructions.

If you read all of what is here, you will recognise yourself in/identify with one of the authors.

There is not yet much organization to this blog. Posts and pages. But since this is being created by people well versed in the Wakefield Doctrine, a little reading will yield a lot of understanding.

Again,

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers).

Have fun.

(btw: the premise is that we  all have characteristics from each of the 3 groups, but end up being mostly one of the three (that is, to be clarklike, scottian or rogerian in personality). You will identify with everything here, but by the end you will find yourself liking one author more than the others.

(one last thing: this is about how we look at the world. we already know how you look at the world, its just a matter of discovering if you see the world as a clark or as a scott or as a roger. Everything else is done, i.e. how you would react to any situation is already established.)

Have fun.

Any questions, leave your e mail and ask that we contact you.
