Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine ( 3 personality types based on 3 characteristic worldviews, the Outsider, the Predator and the Member of the Herd )
Lets get all MAT1 on yer asses: (you’ll never get this one):
Sunday : Monday :: Friday :
- Wednesday
- Saturday
- what the fuck is this??!
- the Month of October? (jeez, that can’t be correct!)
Could you repeat this question : what am I doing reading this :: damn, they got me thinking that it is worth trying to figure this out :
- what??!
- OK clever beginning, you’ll never be able to keep it up
- alright, alright…. not funny anymore
- clark!!
Finding this still worth reading : personality types :: play along, this schtick is running on fumes :
- scott
- roger
- clark
- theres no way they’ll do another one of these…
…lol I want to thank any one of you who actually had the… patience… persistence… clarklike personality to indulge me in a little 4:00 am Doctrine humour. I hope you had as much fun reading it, as I did (not!) have fun coming up with 3 examples that appeared to carry the premise.
But, we are done with that.
Hey, we are (almost) done with the ‘Week of Posts of Days of the Week’ Posts! Only one more to go! So lets try to impose some order to the previous 5 Posts, so that tomorrow I can just say ‘Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine….’ and Post some photos and vids and the phone number for the Saturday Night Drive.
Friday is a Good Day for:
- clarks because the structure, order and regimentation of the Weekdays is about to end
- scotts because the un-structured days of the Weekend are about to begin
- rogers because every day is a Perfect Day for anyone watching
Friday is a Bad Day for:
- clarks because the Weekend is for people who deserve a break, time-off to enjoy their lives
- scotts because the … hell, there are no bad days for a scott, at least from their perspective
- roger because there will be a bunch of scotts running around without schedules and order and (there will be) clarks walking around wanting someone to help them have fun…

1) The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a standardized test used primarily for graduate school admissions in the USA. Created and still published by Harcourt Assessment, the MAT consists of 120 questions in 60 minutes (formerly 100 questions in 50 minutes). Unlike other graduate school admissions exams such as the GRE, the Miller Analogies Test is exclusively verbal. ( our friends at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller_Analogies_Test )
Hey, you know how I always say that the people who come here and stay on, reading and trying understand our little personality theory, how they are exceptional? Well, we stand by that assertion; however, if you have not had the pleasure of taking the MAT, here’s a quick reference/guide
: ‘is to‘
:: ‘as‘
It occurred to me this morning that you’d be quite the buzzkill for ABC and their program “What Would You Do?” LOL
hell, for those of us reading this Wakefield Doctrine (on purpose), we know ‘What You Would Do’ lol
My point exactly Holmes!
I take it I did not get away with pretending I was familiar (with the show) and therefore the premise of your remark?
lol
( I bet I can predict the next remark …not counting anything from you )
Well, it is from me. That was NOT it. You, in fact, did get away with “pretending” you were familiar with it. My little bit of sarcasm through you off a bit? clarks will do that. React as such. Insecurity?(expression of)
“Where does that(insecurity) come from? That, my friend, is a valid Doctrine question right there – what are the roots of a clark’s insecurities? No. No one can answer “because they are the outsider”. Let’s get a conversation going with some hooks in it and I’m not talkin’ musical (hooks)!
P.S. You scotts and rogers ARE welcome to join in. Don’t be afraid of us. LOL
…they are, though
Hey, one more before I leave. You know, to give folks some cud…..while clarks suffer the insecurity thing we are also rather adept at “putting on the hat”. That is to say clarks can project an air of confidence that belies what might be the actual internal “reality”. My own belief is that if I pretend long enough then my projection becomes reality. Energy out, energy in. Hm….most be that scottian secondary. LOL
Hm…guess the rogers are making weekend plans and the scotts haven’t gotten out of bed yet:)
Dear Wakefield Doctrine,
One of my favorite new shows is the Last Resort. I’ve loved Andre Braugher since Homicide. He’s a clark isn’t he?
A lot has happened since this morning, eh? lol
So today at work I start telling a co-worker a little bit about himself. You know the specifics like “you like documentaries, you like reading biographies, you live in a quantifiable universe” (he didn’t blink an eye at that one which surprised me since he is all of 21). Anyway, he finally says “so how do you know all this?”. What kind of psychology test did I use? And I replied, “I know these things because you are a roger”.
lol
…and let him beg to know more!
