Here, Read this….the Wakefield Doctrine (it’s was the music video! I swear to god, it made me write this!!!)

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

The Wakefield Doctrine is a way of understanding the behavior of other people, and often when we think about the behavior of people, we use the word personality. “Hey, she’s got a great personality!” “Sorry, nothing I can do, it’s part of my personality” “What do you want me to do? My personality type is just one that makes me say whatever comes to mind!”  “I just don’t know why I said that, it’s in my personality”  When you stop and think about it, what can be more important and/valuable to you or me or anyone than to understand the personality of the people in our lives?

The Wakefield Doctrine is a way of understanding your own behavior and, because your life is comprised of your behavior and the effects it has on people, what could be more important than understanding our own behavior? When we think about our lives, we often view our behavior as being influenced very strongly by the people around us, “Now, why did you make me do that” “How many times do I have to tell you that you really aggravate me when you do that?” “I really can’t believe you said that!”

The Wakefield Doctrine is a tool.  Why a tool? Because a tool is:

A tool is any item that can be used to achieve a goal, especially one that is not consumed in the process. Informally the word is also used to describe a procedure or process with a specific purpose. Tools that are used in particular fields or activities may have different designations such as Instrument, Utensil, Implement, Machine, or Apparatus. (courtsey of our friends at  ‘the wikipedia’  www.wikipedia.com )

So if you have ever thought to yourself, “If they would only give me a chance, I know I can show that I can do the job” “How can she treat me like that? If she knew how I felt…” “I am going to lose weight this time, no matter what!” “I know they will look at me differently now that I can stand up for myself”

The Wakefield Doctrine is a tool to share and practice and use with your friends for amusement and by yourself for your own amusement. First there were books that offered a written vision of another place and time, then there was radio that spoke of another place and time, then came motion pictures that combined the two, so that we could see and hear another place and time and finally we have tv and cable and internet offering us many times and many places to go. But they all have one thing in common (well, actually two things):

  1. as human beings we have a need to grow, in what we know/how we feel/what we do
  2. as humans we need to experience change for the purposes of growth and for simple recreation

The Wakefield Doctrine offers a way for you to change your reality.
For whatever purpose you would do so, to learn or to laugh; to change the way we get along with the people in our lives, for fun or for survival; to grow and develop as humans, to make better time while we are alive.

So what are you waiting for?

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one
