Wendysdae -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

(Interesting how difficult it is to pronounce today’s post title: Wendysdae)

Which brings us back to the Wakefield Doctrine (as always).

Which of the three predominant worldviews/personality types exhibit the best enunciation of words less common.

hah!

Today being Wednesday, we’re in the mode of completing (or, sometimes, trying to come up with content for our Serial Six Sentence Storys*) and not always into the more generalized thought….whatever

So back to the question for our three predominant worldviews:

  1. clarks (the Outsider) fuck enunciation…clarks embrace mumbling like fricken Thomas Jefferson signs shit… so clearly even Sally Hemmings would approve… mumbling is not incidental or accidental, it’s a hedge.
  2. scotts (the Predator) hell yeah… they’ll pronounce the crap outa words… not for nothin’ but scotts know words, even fricken tough ones like condominimum (lol)
  3. rogers (the Herd Member) Friends, Romans and whoever else in the area unable to appear to be on the phone or called away on an emergency and have to leave the area un-noticed and without fanfare! We have a Wiener Winner!

*each week Denise hosts a bloghop called the Six Sentence Story. It’s thing is to offer a prompt word and (within the restriction of being only six sentences (ish)) invites one and all to create a fiction…ette.

Now, as the story goes, after a spell of writing one-off stories, some among the reg’lars succumbed to the temptation to write an on-going story, a plot if you will.  By doing so they felt they’d circumvented the ‘hops sentence limits, all quite on the up-and-up, mind you. The result would surely be approved of by ‘Charles the D’. (Although the tech was still 190 or so years away.)

These Six Sentence Dickenettes included Marilyn and Liz H-H, Denise, Keith and Chris and Frank. Now  Mimi and Reena; they do more SOC (in the manner of a Diarist) but like they say, ‘Show me a Narrator, Reliable or Otherwise, and I’ll Show you and Engaging Character’

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Almost all mumbling is planned mumbling.

This gave me such a good laugh.
