Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
ok, we’ll be the first to admit it.
the Wakefield Doctrine has more in common with folk music than it does rigorous, empirically-grounded, academically-supported scientific theories of personality type. unlike the wondrous and aren’t-you-glad-to-be-a-citizen-of-the-New-Millennium and it’s wonder drugs, (all fruits of blessed union of science and commerce), which, available to all who have a tele-screen, offering hope for relief at the minor price of contraindications such as ‘may cause suicidal thoughts or actions,(?!!?) serious heart attack and stroke, if any of these occur, stop taking the medication and consult your doctor.’
nuh uh
the Wakefield Doctrine, while admittedly not for everyone, is a simple social medley of how people relate themselfs to the world around them and the people who make it up.
Today we conclude our vidioscopy of clarks, scotts and rogers. And, like the New Medicine, we might just say, ‘Here are your test results and blood work-up. Have a nice day.’ But where’s the fun in that?
Instead we offer one last, actual, from a real movie, scene that involves a scott, a clark and a roger doing what they do best.*
and like that folk tune that isn’t written down and is too subtle for: an arrangement by a symphony orchestra… or ‘Up With People!’ or Burt Bacharach or, even the Vienna’s Boys Choir; this you can learn the basic chords (clarks think, scotts act and rogers feel) and find a little peace in a world that thrives on false complexity and confusion.
New Readers? We could write a hundred posts about this…wait, we already have. lol Hey, what can we tell ya? “Will the circle, be unbroken. By and by, lord, by and by”…
* ok ok! Robert De Niro, David Caruso as the clark and the scott. As to the roger, people! do your Reading… do you see anyone else in this scene wearing a fricken hat?! lol

Easiest part of my day, the knowledge I’m dealing with a bunch of rogers. Hardest part of my day, dealing with all those rogers!
lol
