Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
Comment from Misky to Tuesday’s post.
“Your Scott-side is showing”
lol thanks for the prompt. you are correct(ish)
[n.b. the proper way to express this is: ‘Your scottian (scoe shun) secondary/tertiary aspect is showing’]For the record, your Curator: a clarklike predominant worldview with a significant secondary scottian and a weak rogerian (roe jeer ian) tertiary aspect.
New Readers: we all live in a reality characterized by one of three relationships with the world around us, i.e. as an Outsider (clarks), a Predator (scott) or a Herd Member (roger). Only one because the relationship is what informs our development (as young children) of strategies and styles of survival and overall interaction with the world around us. A clark does not, however, exhibit the behaviors of avoiding scrutiny or being compulsively curious because they are born with (or otherwise inherit) these traits. These ‘traits’ simply are the best approach to interacting with the world as the Outsider is experiencing it. And, of course, the multiple of behavior that we associate with this predominant worldview. (Hence the 3,000 plus posts.) As do the scotts and the rogers.
That said, we totally enjoyed the above comment because it reminded us of the early days in this blog. The energies were different. The writing less…polished but more than made up for it by being provocative.
There was a period back then (say, 2012-2014) when triplets were rampant.
ProTip: the validation for the descript trips following is grounded in the nature/character of the response of the person to whom (they) apply.
Example:
scotts are stupid * rogers are dumb * clarks are crazy *
(loved that one… one of the first that showed the response validation, eg scotts and clarks laugh, rogers get genuinely angry)
or
scotts are cruel * rogers are mean * clarks are heartless *
there ya go
Don’t forget Thursday is Six Sentence Story bloghop day.

> scotts are stupid
(woof!) … but not ignorant.
That’s a scott in that picture up there. Wanna know how I know, without a doubt? My scottian brother-in-law has a bike that looks like that and rides a track and sees how far over he can lean – just for fun. Then posts pictures and tells people all about it.
thanks for the commentage, Cynthia, Misky!
as we alluded to, the validation of the observation is provided (knowingly and otherwise) by the individual
Spoiler Alert! At least with today’s ‘negative’ triplets, you can pretty much count on the clarks and the scotts to laugh with appreciation.
Of course, it’s funny.
I wonder how early the signs start showing of which world a child will grow up in. My granddaughter, our little Annie, if she thinks the person holding her is not paying her quite enough attention (for example, holding her and preparing her meal at the same time), she will lean over and stick her little face right into yours until you are looking in her eyes, and won’t stop until you smile and pay attention to her. Scott, perhaps? She’s almost 11 months old.
