Wednesday -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Way, way behind today.

Gotta be uncharacteristically brief (trying for brusque, settle for concise).

The Wakefield Doctrine offers you a tool to self-improve yourself. It is found in the basis of the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers, to wit: what we refer to as personality types is but an outward reflection of how a person relates themselfs to the world around them, and the people who make it up.

That’s it!

Have a great day!

lol… no, serially. ok, one more insight: that statement about our relationship? the key phrase, (and therefore most mis-understood), is ‘how we relate ourselves to the world’.

Note: we did not say, ‘how we relate to the world…’

critical, simple and way-difficult little distinction.

to look at how ‘we relate ourselves to the….’ requires we know ourselves. Libraries filled with books on the topic of knowing oneself. And, not to get all-up-in-the-prose with what that means, lets let someone who is a little bit more famous (which, alas, is all too often synonymized with ‘credible’) say it. that way we can get out there and do something good.

And…and! it’s fun! …(using the Doctrine as a perspective not reading Lao Tzu):  “Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom”

so the wisdom and inner peace may take some time, but go out there today with the profiles of clarks (Outsiders), scotts (Predators) and rogers (Herd Members) in mind. we guarantee you will be glad you did.

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Brief and concise, yes. Brusque, not quite.

      funny about that
(speaking only of myself… there are days when (for a variety of reasons) I set out be be a jerk (hoping for asshole, but willing to settle for outright rude) and the world around me (and the people who make it up) are all, ‘Why yes, clark, that’s a good point. Glad you mentioned it’. and Im totally… my presence is registering? how fricken low key have I been!)
      lol
