TTot -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop.

You know how, sometimes, you’re, like, I don’t know what to write in this TToT post this week? Yet you’re annoyingly aware that, if only you were to follow the Founderinae‘s original directive, there’d be minimum perspiration, right? How difficult can that be? List ten people, places and things, in the last week that have elicited the state/feeling of gratitude. Easy peasy, as our current host, Dyanne, would say, am I right?

But, nooo, that’s not challenging enough and besides, you’re not even sure you are capable of responding the way the other do. They do have the distinct advantage of being a) skilled writers and observers of life and 2) they’re all real people.

But the Wakefield Doctrine does not permit denial. (Getting it wrong, doing a second-rate job, failing completely, are acceptable to the worldview of the everyone’s favorite personality theory. Pretty much nothing is frowned upon, except denial. Which is, of course, to willfully-reject the perspective that there is more to the world than you know and/or like.)

So, I was thinking… (yeah, Mimi, that can’t be good…lol) Suppose I took photos of whatever was in front of me at various random times today? That would work, wouldn’t it? The Book of Secret Rules (aka the Secret Book of Rules) totally supports the idea, seeing how, Chap. 43.2 allows for the inclusion of ‘hypograts’; Which are those broken shoelaces, ptomaine poisoning and other less-than-fun occurrences of everyday, ordinary life.

We agree? cool. Let’s reserve five places for the experiment.

Hey, just in case there are new Readers or someone might have someone else reading over their shoulder who says, “OK all I see are a collections of grat-blog posts. Well-written and insightful as you described… wait a minute! WTH?!!?”

* You know how, someone reads a post and then says, “Yeah, but you wrote it, so you made it weird on purpose.”? Sure I wrote this post. But the next music vid, I stumbled upon, (nothing wrong with that), looking for a particular song, one with a ‘Time Theme’ (everyone knows this song, and, it’s not half-bad)… but the video itself… I watched it. I laughed (ol). I noticed K-2 in the title and thought of our host. I laughed again and thought, ‘Oh man! No way!

Way.

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. There’s nothing wrong with being thankful for houses and roads and views from the office and having good work to do.
