TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop.

While the subject of whispered conversations, during which the character of the participants were taken to heights they would never assent to and, who’s exploits (both individually and as that first Group of Ten), fascinated most children and an increasingly small percentage of adults, modern scholars consider the story of the creation of the Ten Things of Thankful bloghop to be right up there with cultural events including: (the) Dawning of the Age of Aquarius, an adolescent’s first viewing with the full length proto-music video, ‘Hey Jude’ and King Canute’s encounter with the tide.

Be that as it may, below is the list this week of those people, places and things that instigated revolt against ennui and apathy.

Post-contemporaneous comment: That Hey Jude video? Anyone more than thirty years beyond the realm of youth, you’d be well-advised to make a promise to yourself that you accept that memory and reality are nothing more than neighbors in a sprawling suburban development. You come home from work and something is different, never mind, returning for a visit after forty or more years. Remember, cognitive dissonance is the secret whoopee cushion that god snuck in Adam and Eve’s luggage as they boarded the train to East Eden. Ignore it and enjoy the music.

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

I loved the videos, I think instead of deer yoga, mama deer wasn’t having any more suckling from baby deer. Thank you for the post.

  2. Excellent post. Your property! Such a wildlife sanctuary. A good thing :) Have you filmed any of the wildlife as they are exiting the confines of the back yard?
I’d be curious at what travels through there in the middle of the night :D

    Deer Yoga! :D

  4. That’s the kind of wild life/wildlife i enjoy. And yes, comes a time when mama says, no more, milk bar’s closed!

lol they’ve been showing up in the morning all summer. They are totally not impressed by the angry dog in the window. Una yells at the rabbits but shouts at the deer. Doesn’t work, though.

The deer video is adorable! One of those bebes is a little stinker! Thanks for #7! I wish I were a better TToT host, but I sure am enjoying getting back to the SSS!

it’s fun having (some of) the gang around. I see Christine on the Instagram and, occasionally, but not here in the blogosphere.

The does on our property will often jump the fence when they want some time to themselves when they know the fawns are not able to jump the fence yet. It kind of reminds me of moms who go to the library (bathroom) sometimes for a little peace and quiet from the kids. HaHa
The Beatles really knew how to draw in crowds leaving the old folks shaking their heads and wondering about this new direction music was going.

yeah, hard to imagine, but the idea of a ‘single song film’ was so exotic back in the 60s
