This is the Ten Things of Thankful bloghop.

1) Phyllis
2) Una
3) the Wakefield Doctrine (as above, so below)
4) Beginning of Summer Progress Report: Sunset 4:21 pm local
(5 hypograts As permitted, under specific precursory conditions, precedent of explication, redemption and, ultimately, appreciation… [op.cit. Book of Secret Rules (aka (the)Secret Book of Rules) ibid, 28-25]
6) the Six Sentence Story Denise maintains a blog that is the equivalent of what some of us remember as one of the good days in school, (when the substitute teacher had to leave the classroom), but, not knowing her pupils, put a clark and a scott in charge until she returned.
7) For your reading pleasure, the latest installment in our two serial stories: ‘the Whitechapel Interlude‘ and ‘the Case of the Missing Fig Leaf‘
8) the 2020 Wakefield Doctrine-facilitated Self-Improvement Project, aka, the 20 Minute Real Estate Briefing. Once a week I endeavor to develop and enhance my already-significant secondary scottian aspect. (My weak, tertiary rogerian aspect? What do you think this here Grat Item here represents? ….oh, yeah and the link to our facebook page is… lol). My co-host. (Who, I trust, all students of the Doctrine will have no trouble recognizing as a scott. What? Sure, you can call her Tenzig Norgay. If you have the nerve. For myself, Sir Edmund will suffice. lol)
9) THIS SPACE AVAILABLE
10) Secret Rule 1.3 [f]rom the BoSR/SBoR, “…just getting halfway through a list of Ten Things will generate the initial sense of gratation, the fact that it, (the initial sense), puts you over the halfway point, totally should seal the deal. From this point, (per Section 1.3 to 1.5), we are free to Ad colligenda bona (‘Collect the goods’) …lol

It was good to actually hear your voice and now I read your posts with that voice in mind.
Ayiiee.. lol. (its funny, voice sounds like I write, only part of the time (I’m speaking))…so much for developing a ‘voice’ in writing.
Oh yes! We are slowly sliding into Spring’s homeplate! Can see it, feel it, maybe not in the temps yet perhaps, lol but it’s there.
Thank you for the Six shoutout. It is kinda like that :D
It is a most excellent self improvement exercise for a clark. Live on camera… in front of the world. (potentially, right?!) And what better co-host than a scott!
Ah, the joy of slightly longer days. We still can’t let the cat outside most days, and she’s not happy.
funny, I actually feel better knowing the days are getting longer, even though the coldest part of the year is yet to come.
With your cold cold days this time of year, I’m thinking there may times when you and Phyllis struggle with who gets the “warming” dog. Una’s thick coat surely must have been one of the things you considered when you got her. Great photo from the archives to keep you focused on the summer progress report. Next time I am on FB, I’ll check out the latest Real Estate Briefing Sir Edmund. :-)
that and her natural weight (52-56 lbs)… sad to say one of the criteria was, in fact, weight… Bella and Ola were full-sized German Shepherds… 85-95 pounds… fortunately we were able to lift them (when it was necessary)….
…the 20 Minute Real Estate Briefing thing is turning out to be an interesting experiment/demonstration of using the Doctrine as a tool for self-improving myself… now, if I can only crank up my tertiary rogerian aspect, I might even make some money as a result of being in the social media!
Whoa, the sun sets REALLY early where you are! Like an hour before here. I’m trying to be optimistic about the days getting longer, but it’s just going to be yuck no matter what for the next couple of months.
really? I’m always amazed at how little it takes in distance to have a change in the most fundamental of things… sunrise sunset
I seriously cracked up OUT LOUD at your first thankful. Phyllis…stage left. AHAHA. You’re hilarious! I love that you also have a pic of when it’s not fricken freezing. I’m trying to motivate myself to go out for a walk and the winter day is…well…WINTRY!
lol. I thought of you on the solstice. Yes, my friend, the days ARE getting longer.
Like that famous old saying, ‘Dog’s eyes never lie’
…each day, though, a little longer on the sunlight
