TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Despite the years, causing smooth bark to be become mottled and pale, lichens finding a place to spread their lace, Ola’s tree still guards over her grave.

Weekend.

TToT

Ten (or so) examples of people, places and things that elicit and (as a possible side-effect of reading), stimulate a feeling gratitude

Host: Kristi

(ed. note: “You know how, sometimes, (well, ok, a lot of times), I’m all, the TToT posts from the Doctrine are prone to flights of…. randomized style, syntax and format? Well this week is so one of those. But the music vid is fun (‘the fro!! boss! the fro!‘) and the photos are, as always, laden with representations of the things I experience in my life that totally qualifies me for participation in the Ten Things of Thankful bloghop.)

(New Readers? …nah, never mind, lol ask Kristi or Pat or Mimi or Lisa or Dyanne.)

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Kristi says:

It’s nice to have variety in the presentation of the TToT lists, and “One (and)Two: Equals Three” captions that photo very well.
    Love the ocean photo!

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

      ‘spice of life’ and such.
(I did enjoy your intro this week… your secondary clarklike aspect must have noticed that your rogerian nature was distracted. Not a bad thing, all things in balance and moderation.

  2. Lisa Tomey says:

Fun and funky twist! Happy thankfuls!

  3. phyllis0711 says:

great music, the best paths lead home.

  4. dyannedillon says:

My commute takes me through three parks and past a cemetery (plus past a slightly sketchy section of town). No ocean. But when I commuted between Ventura and Burbank, my favorite thing was when I came over the Conejo Pass and could see the sparkling ocean spreading out and it made me feel such peace!
Your counting system rivals Common Core math.

  5. Pat Brockett says:

Love the caption under your One (and) Two: Equals Three photo.
A peaceful drive by the ocean is a perfect way to gear up for the day, or to calm down, whichever way you look at it.

  6. Photo 3. How can that not make everything alright.

  7. Lisa L. says:

My morning commute takes me from bedroom to kitchen to home office. No such beauty alone my trip as you have!
I will always and forever love your TToT presentations and methods for hitting the list. I miss this thing. Perhaps I need to give it another whirl. My blog is so very neglected and sad.
I am thankful that (so far) you have not hunted me down in anger for not finishing Almira and offering feedback. I’m on it. I promise. My reading time lately has been very low on the to-do list with getting kid back to school in this new school-from-home fashion. I’ll get there. I promise!

that’d be fun… join us next weekend… I’ll even lend you a couple of starter grats for your list (any echos of a certain Jack and Beanstalks is totally hoped for).
      lol np
So far the feedback as been as I’ve hoped, i.e. the characters resonated with most of the readers. Still surely have to get myself a professional editor to put a shine on our little story of Mrs. Gulch.
