9) THIS SPACE AVAILABLE (for anyone out there wanting to try this ‘bloghop thing’ but are not ready to commit their time and effort, (and risk of humiliation by writing something they think others will disapprove of)…just send it here as a comment and I’ll post it. I don’t mind. (Have you even looked at the ‘Post’ above this item?!! Admittedly we live on the fringes, TToTistically-speaking here at the Doctrine. But still, we were once where you are… come on, give it a try.)

Oh, man. I ‘ll be back. No time for comment now but….one pic in particular.
And! what the hell. Seether. Was listening to them yesterday. Later.
Yeah, their version is one of those rare, ‘better than original’ covers
I love Una’s expression. I’ve seen it in Drexel’s eyes before, too. A “I’m patient with the humans” look.
lol she (as do all dogs) exhibits qualities that I can only strive for
I always enjoy reading or visualizing your 10 things of thankful posts. The photos this week were really fun to look at, and I found myself wondering if I could tell the different places that they were based on what I have already read here. As always, I am also thankful for Una, Phyllis, and this here Doctrine. :) I hope you have a great week. Thank you for the good food for thought.
They (the images) were all ‘real’ world, ‘ceptin the old-timey photo of the building, but even that is kinda real. Its a photo of the McPhearson County hospital from the early Twentieth century. And, as everyone will someday know, McPhearson county is home to a certain farm girl who grew up in a small town by the name of Circe, Kansas.
Wonderful photo of Una looking at the reflections in the pond, or is there a squirrel by the tree!
I agree with Kristi about “the look.” That is a look every dog owner has seen. :-)
That cloud picture looks like a guy talking while a cigarette (with ashes about to fall) is hanging from his mouth! I know. . .I see some weird things in the clouds. LOL
hard to tell with Una, through no fault of her own and certainly in no way a detriment, she is the least photogenic dog we’ve had…though I should use the word, easily-photographical* as she is, clearly, a most attractive canine.
*not a ‘real’ word
Love that version of a song I know well. I’ve always loved the original version, but I realize it isn’t for everyone. Thanks for sharing. Happy to return to your posts and I am so excited you’ve carried on the Almira stuff. That’s been a great idea from the beginning. But lots of research eh?
Yes. The story is complete. Now to edit it into a book suitable for some manner of publication. I genuinely consider this phase, to distill the story into it’s most engaging form to be way, way more difficult than it was to write in the first place. But, hey, I’ve got a very cool tale, who am I to complain?
