Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
‘Address’
It1 says that ‘Address’ is the word. Of course, that’s only part of the problem, (well, maybe a component of the problem). The problem is that ‘Address’ is only one word. The Challenge that zoe poses to you and me and that woman who types when no one is looking (and wishes that she had the nerve, of barring that, was the kind of person who didn’t mind people watching and judging), in this, the Six Sentence Story blog….hop. thing.
So all we gots to do is spin a yarn that incorporates the word (or failing that, the idea of the word (and, failing that…has at least one word with half the letters already in it… sort of like an incomplete palindrome… the word that implies one word when read in one direction and implies a similar, but different (often mistaken for) word when read in the other direction.)
There! all warmed up!
“I believe, Class, that I have sufficiently addressed the impossibility of co-incidence of an emotional experience.”
“But Professor, speaking on behalf of the class, and therefore the final arbiter of the persuasiveness, if not the validity of your proof, while we will concede the non-reproducibility of any occurrence, we do not accept your conclusion.”
“Have I not amply demonstrated (and therefore addressed) the impossibility of the exact duplication of a what is, by definition, non-definable, i.e. a subjective experience? To quote our Latin friends, ‘argumentum ad lapidem’, it that how you would characterize the last 60 minutes?
“Mu”
“Well, my fine zen students, be that as it may, (and next week’s assignment is to quantify that little statement), I’m not refunding your tuition!”
****
you wanna hear a really stupid song from the 60s? This came on the radio on my way to the office yesterday…and, it took at least a couple of minutes of “is that who I think it is” nah…no way….. oh man, the lyrics are so 60s, but it is!!”
1) what are you looking down here for? hoping that there’d be something to make sense of the above? sort of a reverse of the classic visual meme, the child on bended knee, eyes upwards in hope of explanation and/or divine intersecession
I totally thought of Harry Potter (is that cliché) as I read. Haha.
And I like your new word: “Sixosity.” Yeah.
lol
Good work, Grasshopper.

Oh Val, i was gonna make a “time for you to leave” comment! Well done, Clark

As always, good.
thank you
That 6th sentence made me laugh.
Clever and creative response, I had to do some thinking on this one! :-)
I do believe the professor is right.
Yup, this one was a thinker. Well done.
I initially went to Greek letters, but no. This one might stick with me today.
