Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
New to the TToT? Feeling like you’re not so sure you want/can/are suited to participation in a ‘gratitude bloghop’? You are. (the reason I appear to be so confident in making this statement is based in genius of founderini Lizzi Roger’s vision for the TToT… and that was, ‘hey! come join us! you see the instructions…follow them the best you can and know that this is about how we feel, not just what we do‘*)
I submit as evidence the following Post (un-official motto: ‘hey, If they let me get away with posting this… you gots nothing to worry about!’ )
1) (the 2 Mile Run presents) ‘the Gravity Challenge‘
2) treehouse
3) Una
4) yard animals
5) Six Sentence Challenge
6) BoSR/SBoR
7) summer
8) early dark hypo-grat
9) blogosphere
10) 1.3

…sure, I know! 7 photos and 10 Items! What the hell, indeed! In any event… the Book of Secret Rules (aka the Secret Book of Rules) is well documented and referenced in zoe’s link to a previous Post…in last week’s TToT: Click here for zoe’s most comprehensive of Introductions to our little BoSR/SBoR and the photos of the Beach (above) were taken at like… 7:55 or so…. shit!! hold on!! ( I just looked at the time!! I’m late for the Gravity Challenge…. damn Kristi and Christine and Val and Lisa and Joy are gonna be pissed…I’m supposed to post by 8:am and here it is 8:17!!! shit!…. be right back!)
…ok, where was I?
Done!
* well, kind of a condensed, paraphrased, derived from a compilation of a variety of statements found in sources not necessarily authorized by Ms. Rogers, the co-hostinae or anyone else for that matter, SR. 6.32 is, however, invoked in this case (SR. 6.32 stating, in part: when you’re writing a post, write whatever the hell you want, provided you can cite the appropriate Rule (from the Book of Secret Rules (aka Secret Book of Rules)) and are willing to face zoe, the SGV, Sarah and, if you’re still standing, Christine and Dyanne… ya know?

FRIST! BLOODY FRIST!
FRICKEN FRIST is all!!!!
BOOOOOOOOM!
Wow – I even rookied and read it first! AWESOME pic of Phyllis and the blue moon – not too sure about the zombie deer – keep your shovel close in case you need to hit it on the head.
YAY to your list and the copious amount of rulage, and believe me, no 7GV are going to have REMOTELY the amount of wrath compared to what you might cop if you don’t firm up on this thing on the 12th… ;)
totally… working on one of two scenario (both involve being in NJ on the 12th….)
ok bueno
The treehouse looks lovely! I hope Ivy’s mystery chickens and that deer don’t get together!
Devil chickens and zombie deer, oh my!
I love that photo of Phyllis! I didn’t get a single photo of the moon, though we did go outside to gaze at it.
I love everything about the moon: blue, strawberry, etc.
:-)
Great pictures! The treehouse looks wonderful. When do we move the furniture in? :D
Very tricky those zombie deer. Sweet and innocent right up until…..damn cryin’ shame there’s such a thing as zombie deer….*heavy sigh*
New Jersey? Nobody asked ME if I was going to NJ. What’s up with that?! Huh? Huh? :)
kid you not I just assumed you were coming… I thought we asked… sorry…. so lets make it official… HEY DENISE! Youre comin to Jersey right?
The treehouse is tres cool! So what does one do with such a space as a treehouse? We used to have secret rendezvous in ours… and read comic books and such…. and I suspect if she werent in such a rush Una may object to your catagorization of squirrels as insignificant!
Thanks for the shout out and that’s my favorite skip pic
yeah… me too
We tried to see the blue moon here too..but it was orange, as it turned out!
lol… yeah same here! what the hell?!?
I love the tree house, did you build it? Is it a more naturalized version of a man-cave?
as a Commentor phrased last week (much to my adolescent delight) technically this would be considered a ‘she cave’* as my wife Phyllis got it in her mind that every property with the slightest level of woods, really needs to have a tree house.
(construction: Phyllis had the vision then we had our contractor draw plans and build most (the framing and roof) but left the siding for Phyllis to enjoy doing with some others… they all had a splendid time).
I think we’re on to something, brevity of posts and all. I like when you include photos of your gratitudinal items. Is that tree house in your yard? NJ – the 12th. Be there or be square.
yes… it’s (the photo) takes from our house, looking into the woods and such
Oh, I won’t be mad. I’m not great at posting (consistently, or on time) to the gravity challenge, so I’m in no position to judge.
I’m curious about the gravity challenge. I just recently posted about my weight loss in my list of thankfuls, congratulations to you. Zombie deer would freak me the $@@@ out. 😉
it’s something a number of us are doing (for a number of different reasons)… we’d love to have you join us! try today’s Post, which might give you a sense of who and what it is… today’s post
Great photos – definitely. And I love that you and Val have similar-looking lists. A sign of a full life, but not so full that there isn’t time to at least post the simple version of thankfulness. :D
thank you… sometimes photos do say more than words. (and then there’s the videos… lol)
