Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers )
Hey ho! It’s Wednesday, the most non-Wakefield Doctrine Day of the Week!
Why is that? Because every other day of the week forms a perfect framework to illustrate not only the primary characteristics of each (of the 3 personality types), but also the relationships that form (between) each of the three types. Lets begin with the Days of the Week.
- Sunday rogerian type day
- Monday clarklike day
- Tuesday rogerian type day
- Wesdnesday (all of the the 3/none of the 3)
- Thursday clarklike day
- Friday rogerian
- Saturday scottian, way scottian
- Sunday: (rogerian) day you know, if you have read any of this here blog here, you would know this one right off because of the focus on Ceremony. Going to church, day of rest, Wonderful World of Disney, they are all ritualistic, totally proscribed activities.
- Monday: (clarklike) day, it is a time of the inevitable, a day full of dread and foreboding, the un-avoidable consequence of a weekend believing things could be different
- Tuesday: (rogerian) a day to measure the start of the work week, staff meeting day, “really get down and get the work done…where did those clarks go?” day
- Wednesday: can’t you read? this Post is all about Wednesday
- Thursday: (clarklike) in that when you hit Thursday, it looks like you have made it through another week, yet the pressure to “enjoy life” on the weekend is not yet upon you
- Friday: (rogerian), TGIF!! as we know rogers create acronyms like a fish takes to water, they believe in acronyms, ROLOTA (‘rogers love their acronyms’)
- Saturday: (scottian) (like you didn’t know that! )
So there we have the damn days of the week! Each and every one of them assigned characteristics according to the Wakefield Doctrine. Is there anything this Doctrine can’t do?
Don’t forget!! Saturday Night Drive this Saturday 8:00 to 8:45 pm ET Call us…you will be glad you did. (Besides, given that Saturday is a scottian day, this is the only day that Ms. AKH and downspring glenn get to have any fun anymore.)
