But you don’t want to know what the path to this sub-title and therefore the initial topic of this Post is, what you probably want to know is what the hell the big deal about this Wakefield Doctrine is and why you should even care.
The very definition of the internet in general and the blogosphere in particular is: everything is out there.  If it exists, then someone has created a site or written a blog about it.  Not only that, even if a thing doesn’t exist there is a high probability that someone has created a site around it or written a blog about it.

We fall in the second category.

the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers) is a unique, useful and fun way to look at the way people behave.  Not so much a personality theory as it is a perspective that allows you to not only understand the personality of others but to be able to predict the behavior of others. Guaranteed.  Totally.
So take a look around, no! don’t read that section yet!
Just the most recent Posts listed in the lower left of the homepage, that should get you started.  In addition to the definitions of the terms used and replete with the cant peculiar to the Doctrine, you will see Comments.  These Comments, at least at the present time, are contributions from people with ‘first hand’ knowledge of the Wakefield Doctrine.  DownSprings is the preferred term.

While tending to stay more in the background but still  totally supportive of all things Doctrine, DS Joanne has requested a hat (for her damn head). (boo ya)
These things are starting to make their way out into the world. (Just as a little reminder, the only ‘price’ of the this fine, fine Doctrine apparel is that you get a picture of the hat (with or without your damn head underneath) in front of a local landmark to verify your geographical positionhood.  Joanne now joins the swelling crowdlette of hat models and we  looking forward to a photo.
Which, of course raises the question:  ‘Hey!  Doctrine People!  Supposes someone asks me about what’s on the hat, the Wakefield Doctrine thingie.  The official answer to this is: “come on clark, don’t worry so much, you know what to say, you do not need authorized words“.

So coming this week! the Good…the Bad…Decide Right Now!!  Next up:  Animal Shows.  Look for it in the middle column some time this week, probably around Wednesday.  The shows under-consideration are (as of today):  Whale Wars, Dog Whispererer, Crocodile Hunter (retrospective), Dogs 101 and Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom.
