What? Yeah, am that old, but come on! What is there not to like about the theme song. It is bright, upbeat, optimistic and above all welcoming. In a qualified, “why yes, the answer is here” (with this horse) and you can ask for enlightenment, sort of way. Further, we are entreated to go to the source…but there is a catch.
“..he’ll give you the answer that you endorse’… now just what the hell is that supposed to mean? Is that a threat? You will accept the answer you are given without reservation or questioning? But this was Post Cold War, c 1961, not the most secure time in the culture’s history.

There are three characters and one is a clark, one is a scott and one is a roger. There are several ways to solve the problem and figure out which is who, but there is only one right answer. The contest? A free hat to the first 5 correct answers. (No, AKH have not forgotten your hat.)

Close AKH, but not quite there…
Sometimes it helps it let yourself step back and get a feeling, not from not what a person is saying but how they are saying it ( in this case the ‘how’ is not literal, not meaning the vocabulary). I mean more the overall feeling the person is projecting.
Maybe ‘Demeanor’ is the word I want, to refer to how the person presents themselves to the situation. Hell, I might even be willing to say ‘style’ or (given todays musical selection), the old word ‘vibe’.

Anyway, watch the three main characters interact, how do each character appear to feel about the situation? How do they appear to present their ‘feelings’.

Am I “your little Glennster”? That would so please me. I think ditz is a fine word–nothing wrong with it at all. Makes old LISA as cute as a box of puppies. Are all female clarks therefore ditzes? Not at all. Some are bimbos. Some are nerds. Most are quite sexy and mysterious–and they do love to please others. Part of what makes them so appealing. Taking exception to the word ditz seems a bit…I don’t know…rogerian?
