Wednesday Warm-up -the Wakefield Doctrine-

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

Seeing how today is Wednesday, aka  ‘Have Something To Submit To The Six Sentence Story bloghop Day’ we thought we’d write a little ‘Soul of Wit’ post. (And apparently it’s how many quotes can you use day.)

In any event, seeing how we all know the dominant demographic here is (are?) clarks. [Or scotts or rogers with significant secondary clarklike aspects]

If we may:

clarks make the easy things hard and the hard things easy

If you want something done quickly, with little concern about precision or level of finish…call a scott

If you want something done right, with no particular deadline and don’t mind an endless demand of appreciation…call a roger

that was… simple? easy??

Bonus Doctrine Insight:

Quick and Easy Way to Identify Another’s predominant worldview; ask them: ‘How much is Two plus Two?’

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

  1. Misky says:

Erm … “done quickly, with little concern about precision or level of finish…call a Scott.”

I am a Virgo: annoyingly persnickety about detail and preciseness. Perhaps one’s astrological sign trumps the doctrine.

    • clarkscottroger clarkscottroger says:

sure, absolutely… the astrological system been around way longer and proven to be so much more efficacious.

or… could there be a certain secondary aspect at work here?

      lol. (mums the word)

Serially, if I could muster a one-to-one coherence between descriptions of the predominant worldviews, I would probably have written a book by now… alas just as not every single bicyclist in the clump of serious riders on a Sunday-country road, wearing Spandex (to take advantage of lower co-efficient of resistance) and little rearview mirrors on their heads and plastered with corporate logos is a roger… the Doctrine police won’t be sending you a citation for misuse personality type characteristics…

that said, your comment does warrant a post (after the weekend) about the whole business of suitability/excellence/a-fricken-natural-for to various jobs, vocations, interests and affectations, vis-á-vis the predominant worldviews. will be fun
      thanks!

  2. A good portion of my job is making hard things easy for my clients.
