TToT -the Wakefield Doctrine- Free parenthesiseses in the lobby for your writing pleasure…

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Wakefield Doctrine’s contribution to the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT). A ‘grat blog(hop)’ the TToT invites one and all to create/write/type and/or imagine a list of the Ten Things that have elicited the emotion of gratitude. Traditionally this list can be chronological in character/structure, most commonly ‘the last seven (or however many days there are in the author’s week) days’.

However, the list can be of any number. Provided (ah ha! these people do have Rules!!*) there is good intent. We imagine good intent, at least for the purposes of writing a list of more/less than Ten Things, as reflecting your seeing something fun or interesting or supportive of the intent of this bloghop in the lesser (or greater number) that had you smiling, ‘Wait’ll they read this.!’

Photos are also quite valid as a narrative device as seen in the contributions of hostinae Kristi and cai (Hey! cai...wanna be an OFFICIAL HOSTINAE? huh, do ya? and Lillian … and Cat? It’s easy and fun and helps us get the TToT ‘out there’ in the blogosphere that is… like they say, ‘the more the … damn, gonna need some help from the hostinae seeing how, this incomplete old saying… well, in conventional use would imply your Narrator is…. merry. errr . We try. [Full Disclosure: if we were about to visit a small town or city but a prerequisite was to complete a questionnaire, the last item of which being, ‘Your emotional demeanor/state/mood could best be described as:  We don’t know that ‘Merry’ would be the first word coming to mind.]

But, we’re just one of the current Six Hosts they are surely more qualified to get this quiz correct. ok, on with the ‘hop

clarkscottroger About clarkscottroger
Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

It is nice to build a new bridge for our dog.
    Thank you

  2. Lumber in the front yard is a good one. There’s magic afoot when new things are being built.

Interesting projects going on while the sun shines.

Please email the code to host the linky and I’ll try to promote it. You can also paste it in a comment in my blog but I won’t publish it for public viewing.

    Thank you.

      cool!

what we do, linkage-wise is every month or so I generate the html code from InLinkz Will send by email.

      welcome to the TToT

Received. Thanks for laying out the Welcome Mat. I’m using a theme for WP so it works in “custom html” and not code. Others who are using themes WP templates may like to try this, in case code doesn’t cut it.

  4. A new bridge!
There’s something about the smell of fresh lumber and the excitement of a new project that is very special. Look forward to pictures of finished product.

  5. Misky says:

Who me? “You looking at me?” (well not precisely but almost) said Travis Bickle with a scottian accent. When this TToT was posted I was larking about in a Swedish forest on a hot day that rendered the scent of pine resin almost hallucinogenic. It’s nothing at all like Pinesol, by the way … which my mum used to pour down the toilet bowl as if she were a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union.

And I do apologise for this reply; it is completely aimless. Is there something that I require of me Mr clarkscottroger?
