Six Sentence Story -the Wakefield Doctrine- [a Café Six]

Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)

This is the Doctrine’s contribution to the Six Sentence Story bloghop.

Hosted by Denise, constrained by a sentence limit (high and low) of six, there are worse ways to spend the remaining time you have on earth.

Prompt word:

TONE

“Look, Rosetta, I like you…a lot and whatever this business with your uncle is, know that I got your back; besides, if you’re in trouble or danger, I do have certain resources.”

Rosetta Storme reached out and brushed one of the eternal ranks of unruly hair scaling down the Sophomore’s face and smiled, “I know and it means more to me than you know.”

Even as her eyes softened and her smile coerced the remainder of her face to relax and enjoy a moment, her eyebrows stepped up and demanded an end to the lovey-dovey: the feral side of a woman, can, with certain women, enhance attractiveness, all while leaving no doubt as to her lethal capacity. If a total stranger was informed of the blood relationship between Rosetta Storme and a ‘Lou Caesare’, a sardonic, ‘No shit’ would shock no one.

A finger to the Sophomore’s lips, Rosetta leaned towards the front of the car and, with a tone of voice familiar to dog trainers and prison guards said, “Rue, Rocco… privacy… now.”

Without overt reaction or response, the woman riding shotgun flipped-down the glove compartment, removed two headsets and handed one to the driver, the torrent of sound-cancelling white-noise hissed from the padded ear pieces ceased as she donned her own.

Well, what exactly do you want to know? Whether I am a clark or a scott or roger? If you have to ask, then you need to keep reading the Posts for two reasons: a)to get a clear enough understanding to be able to make the determination of which type I am and 2) to realize that by definition I am all three.* *which is true for you as well, all three...but mostly one

Rosetta clearly has authority over Rue and Rocco.

Rosetta doesn’t sound like she needs a lot of help…

  9. Sorted. Nice one Rosetta.
