Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
As Monday is to the once-traditional workweek, let us begin with this:
the Wakefield Doctrine maintains there are three characteristic relationships people have with the world in which they exist and live*.
ok, ok!!
We get it. You never ended up in Summer School back in the Before Time and don’t intend to start now. Well, of course, 90% of the population of Summer School (despite the implications of ‘The Breakfast Club’) are scotts. Hey, they don’t always get away with their crazy schemes/vandalism. Sure, the Everything Rule would require there be rogers and clarks in Summer School. That’s literally true.
But if that is your most serious objection to the central thesis of today’s post, then… (roger/scott) you need to go back home and write (in your diary/spray paint the nearest wall):
the Wakefield Doctrine is an additional perspective on the world around us. It requires the natural inclination to… imagine that which cannot/should not/god!-we-hope-not is. It is a view between realities and while very useful, is meant first and foremost to provide fun with that ‘the other two’ are (if they lack a clarklike aspect of significant presence) will never have the good fortune to see.
Do yourself a favor and exercise that inner ‘What If?’ muscle.
you can thank us later. better yet, find a clark in your world and say ‘Thank You’
(good luck with that)
lol
Here ya go:

*AP Doctrine Readers? there is a distinction in the deliberate use of two verbs ‘to be’ Hint: once reflects our context the other ourselfs

Do summer camps count? 😂 Having a significant scottian secondary, this clark spent PLENTY of time in summer school – even as a kid, I went to “typing” camp to learn how to type, math camp to enhance my geekiness, in college (the first time) so I could graduate early, and in college the second time (to graduate on time…with the added bonus of taking classes in Spain), and then summer school the third time for grad school. Now I’m in “summer school” again, learning Reiki. I’m *always* in school…damn.
Hanging out with those strange and new people can be the best part.
(hand up) Summer school. Algebra.
p.s. I love that movie
