#7 stands out to me, this 1st day of September. I concur – summer is definitely not “the predominant condition of the moment.”
Acceptance of the change in light a first step taken, it is the type of overcast – teasing with imminent showers – on this the first day of the month Fall will become official. Let us not rush to embrace it!
