Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
This is the Ten Things of Thankful (TToT) bloghop.
The object, (of this exercise), is the reflection upon and relating, (in a blogpost), the people, places and things that have elicited the state (however transitory) of gratitude.
There are no limits as to the time, place or nature of what we cite in the list.
This Next week: a video list.
1) Una
2) Phyllis
3) the Wakefield Doctrine
4) the Six Sentence Story
5) the serial stories: ‘the Whitechapel Interlude‘, ‘the Case of the Missing Fig Leaf‘ and ‘The Proprietors’
6) the little things. We managed to catch the difference* in the socks for the day. (Sure, not the end of the world. But then again, who out there don’t immediately hear that way cool line from T.S. Eliot’s ‘The Hollow Men’ (‘…not with a bang, but a whimper‘*)
7) * lets advantage our own damn selfs with the 21st C technology! Here, let’s hear the man read to us
8) something, something
9) damn! Back up to Grat 6. That line of his, about not with a bang? I was playing it (in my head) all wrong! Emphasis and rhythm and such. Want to know how effi-fricken-cacious the Wakefield Doctrine is as a tool to help self-improve oneself? I did not hesitate, upon hearing the author read his poem, to think, ok he had something slightly different in mind for inflection and all.
…everyone has the right to their own opinion.
lol
10) Secret Rule 1.3
* in the local division of labor, to those with better eyesight, the greater responsibility, to those with the lesser… gratitude

Yow-wee T.S.!
Surely, the little things.
Molly and Billy! Thanks for bringing them to the TToT again.
Amazing always, my husband on another timeline, lol
I am sittin’ in the club, ‘cuz who wouldn’t want to catch Muddy Waters when in town?!
All about the thankfuls. Always.
Wow.
Socks. Always the socks. Finally we just buy all alike, no worries.
The socks laid out reminds me of similar scenes here. HaHa.
As for listening to T. S. Elliot, I would much rather read The Hollow Men than listen to him read it to me unless I wanted a quick way to fall asleep. (My sincere apologies to T. S. Elliot. I need to try listening again after a good night’s sleep.)
