Welcome to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers)
Thanks to Kristi, our host, for being here each and every weekend. Surely this is one of the longer-running bloghops in the ‘sphere.
Come join us, with your own post listing the people, places or things that cause you to feel grateful. Or, check out Item 8 which is, in a sense, an updated version of, “My god! It’s Opening Night and the lead has fallen down and broken an essential body part!! Can you go on in their place?! Only one line is necessary.”
A bit sparse this week, work interfered in that special way that work can, reminiscent of childhood admonitions, “Why sure, Clark. Stay home and write your post. Your clients will understand. Here, I’ll write you a note to give them. ‘Dear Clark’s client. Now I know you think you need to sell and/or buy a house today. But he has a post to write and can’t’.

Nice episode of hobbomock.
Nice list. Your Chronicles are making me want to knock heads, always a sign of good writing.
kinda sparse this week on the words… got to up my productivity in the wordifying, thinking that I need to start thinking about our current ‘Hobbomock Chronicles’ as Book One (of the Hobbomock Chronicles) as I have a tendency to write giant stories. Maybe I need to think smaller and divide the whole thing into a series. As Phyllis pointed out recently, ‘the Chronicles’ are about the town first, then the people
I got to agree. Question is: can I write a story the is enjoyable and complete but invites us to return to hear more about the town.
Hope the selling/buying worked out well, and totally understand that the TToT needs to take its proper place!
I had been successful at keeping Sunday a non-work day (the real estate business is notorious for encouraging no days off)…TToT has to remain as prominent as it has been (for me) because… well that’s kinda the idea, it (the TToT) helps me keep a proper balance and perspective.
ya know?
Yes, always thanks to Kristi for keeping the TToT available to all of us.
It was a fun call!
I am enjoying the Hobbomock Chronicles. Who doesn’t love a time travel story?!
Here’s to no snow until next year!!
And thank you for being a regular at the Six Sentence Story blog hop.
It sounds like business is booming, so that has to be a huge thankful. Business and life can sometimes get in the way of blogging, says she who posts last.🤪
Love the music you chose!
It is an interesting conflict, literally one that did not exist not that long ago. (I find the biggest problem to be ‘mindset’. Whatever it is that allows me to write fiction does not seem to like the ‘real’ world. … no! seriously, if I’m writing and something from work requires my attention, I am done for the day on the writing. I suspect this conflict is more about the frame of mind I need to impose on myself to be effective in the real estate, as opposed to the writing thing. That, apparently comes naturally. lol
Make hay while the sun shines! Thankful for you!
