9) THIS SPACE AVAILABLE (You enjoy this bloghop but you’ve never quite had the time (or the nerve) to write and publish a post with Ten Things of Thankful as the content? Not to worry. Write a comment describing your Thankful (be sure to include how you want your name presented) and send it in! We’ll totally plug it into this here Item 9 here. Promise!
10) Secret Rule 1.3 (which states, in part, “…hey! look! this is, what number 8?!! one more and then…you. will. be. done.! [‘...the invocation of the anticipation of the completion of the assignation is by Rule 1.3 totally validation(ed)].”
Very very nice. Thank you .
Hahaha…Driving Miss Phyllis. I see what you did there. The corn spiral is looking fabulous! And the UNA garden is, too. And you living so close to the water…oh, that is awesome! Where you live is neat because you feel like you’re in the remote forest, but there are cities with large populations nearby, you have the ocean, and it’s just awesome up there. I was just thinking about it was about a year ago this time that we were up there visiting. What a fun trip that was! I hope you’re having a fabulous Saturday!
The corn spiral is coming along (though, it looks like I have a couple of places where a single, grass plant is growing in the center of the circle…pretending to be corn lol! I’m leaving them alone, let them believe they’re fooling me. Then, in a few weeks I can demand…lets see the ears of corn!)
The location here is excellent for that variety of which you speak.
Hey! you guys should move up here!
Great pics! (love last one especially) Garden is looking good :)
thanks
Great pictures of a lovely life, i am glad you are enjoying it!
thank you Mimi!
Delightful pictorial TToT.
Una’s garden is probably going to really take off now that you are getting some warmer weather. I see blossoms on the squash (or are those cucumbers?).
“Thistle and stone” made me think of the book. I haven’t read it, but I thought I’d remembered hearing of it.
I like the title of your pic of taking Phyllis for a ride. (One of my favorite movies came to mind.)
“Second star to the right” sent me to youtube to listen to the music. :-)
Thank you.
Squash (of a variety I am not un-familar with other than, ‘not-enjoyed-by-rabbits-or-deer’)
That plant is surely related to the one from last year that you helped us identify. The spot last year’s thistle occupied is vacant and now it is here. The stone is from last year (and the last glacier*) it’s one of our favorite features.
That was entirely Phyllis’ doing (the photo of me driving… lol)
*gotta love the internet, just spend thirty minutes trying to learn the likely age of the stone. Read about stone walls, glacial tills and other facts of geology that I do not have the background education to understand (but still enjoy reading about).
Thanks for the photo of the corn spiral (and the other photos, too). Is the bird sitting on a tripod? Just wondering if the bird got a photo of Una! :-)
I suspect the bird would not ignore the doggie in the window, just happened to decide to rest on the (tripod style) sprinkler.
