“Hey Uncle Jed…I gots  me a Picasso”…(gives a certain panache to the Doctrine, no? “Ralliez-vous à mon panache blanc!”)  I feel sort of cultured…I suspect this Internet-enabled easy access to the fine arts and literature results in less of the ‘bringing art to masses’ and more of the  ‘papering the birdcage with Sunday newspaper Supplements featuring ‘the Great Painters of Europe’.

…sorry  did not mean to go off on that tangent.

I do mean to go off on this tangent: the goal and mission of this blog remains the same, to carry the message of the Wakefield Doctrine to the world at large and the Internet specifically. 

So what is it about the Wakefield Doctrine? Well, for one thing it is…lets rephrase that:

“Hey Mister Blog Writer, if you could save only one aspect of the Wakefield Doctrine what would it be?”
You mean like in a time capsule that everyone (by ‘everyone’ we mean rogers) would love to help create for the future to know how wonderful we are here in our time?” You mean,  ‘special’  like that?
(well, sort of…)
I guess I would have to say…the phrase…”he is such a roger” (only a tiny portion of the Doctrine, but everyone gets what you mean when you use that expression.)

It would have to be the realization that there is no one single reality and that you are not lying to me when you say something like, “hey I did not mean to come across that way/to sound like that/to do that…”. (Because of the Wakefield Doctrine), I understand that you are living in and responding to a (slightly) different world than the one that I am aware of.
That is all we ask, here at the Wakefield Doctrine, an open mind and a willingness to consider the possibility that everything you believe in is simply one of three ways to look at life, reality and the world.
(Oh! I answered the question already! heh, heh I forgot that I (re)wrote a short answer and left this looong answer in…shit.) But it goes so well with the photo, better just leave it in).

And speaking of time travel (…I’m sorry…just got out of class…is someone going to time travel?) what is it that makes time travel such an attractive notion. (…I know…I know!)…(sorry Miss Sullivan, the question is for Readers only, they are getting that glazed look again…) (..and why am I doing parenthetical asides…?)…no! for god’s sake don’t answer that…

OK, almost done for today. Just a little more to earn my pay: the Wakefield Doctrine if used properly will allow anyone to step out of the confines and limitations of the “hey I am doing this because it only makes sense, given my circumstance” world that we all inhabit.
